JFK, the director's cut. One of my all time favorite films. Amazingly directed and edited. There's soooooo much in that film!

The Dead Zone, it poses a lot of interesting questions. If you could kill Hitler before his rise to power, even if it meant you dying yourself, would you ? Greg Stillson is a great character. A politician in the truest sense, who just happens to believe his destiny is to bring about the end of the world.

Blue Sunshine is definitely a horror movie. And it's the only movie on that list I found the slightest bit tolerable.

(AWT, sorry, missed The Dead Zone, but still Blue Sunshine was better for me)

LOL really? Any reason why you can't stand movies like Taxi Driver, All the President's Men, The Manchurian Candidate, The Parallax View or Three Days of the Condor ?(which is possibly one of the greatest political thrillers ever made)

It's a great list of films. The Manchurian Candidate (1962) is one of the greatest (I'd say top 10) movies to come out of the 1960s. Possibly in the top 5.

Damn really? I almost bought the special edition used not that long ago for a couple bucks. Will have to see if they still have it next time I'm there.

The Manchurian Candidate (1962) for me. I agree with you, Matt. I know it is a debate-able point, but Manchurian Candidate is one of my all-time fav's from that era.
