I gotta go with the exorcist since its one of the few movies that ever really freaked me out when I watched it

I vote for Rosemary's baby. But I like Exorcist III, Prince of Darkness and Dark Waters (mario baino) a lot too.

Wicker Man is my favorite film of those on the list.

But I don't really consider it to be a horror film.

Hell, I want to live on Summerisle.

I went with Polanski's Rosemary's Baby. I also feel Alice Sweet Alice has some religious overtones and is suitably creepy.

The Wicker Man, followed very closely by Rosemary's Baby (which I had the opportunity to see on the big screen last Sunday -- it was a-m-a-z-i-n-g!), The Omen and The Exorcist.

Of these films, The Exorcist is obviously the best of the bunch. John Carpenter's Prince of Darkness, however, is the film I most revisit.

Other good titles in there too - Frailty, The Exorcism of Emily Rose (I really think that film was painfully underrated) and ... Well, not much else worthwhile on that list. The original Wicker Man film is an amusing oddity, if nothing else. The new one, from what I've heard, is even more amusing.

Maybe missing on that list is a film called The Rapture, starring the one and only Mimi Rogers (how can you not adore that woman? Agent Diana Fowly? She-Devil.com!). I don't think it's "horror" per se, but it has its creepy moments. And it's really good.

Ha, you're not the only one. I'd totally pick up and move there if it were at all possible. :D

Okay, I'd like to live there as long as I'm not kicked or punched in the face by some dude in a bear suit. Although, releasing the bees would be exhilarating...

Easily The Exorcist. But I'm also a big fan of the original Wicker Man, The Prophecy, and the original Omen.

Love a lot of these movies and it be very easy to pick one of those, but I have to go with Prom Night IV. The movie is a total blast, IMO, which is a nice contrast to all the heavy handed-ness that usually comes along with the religious theme.

Frailty for me. Prince of Darkness is close behind (probably first on a different day) and the Prohecy is in the running. Exorcist is the most overrated movie ever.

I went with the Omen. That one sequence with that huge plate of glass still gets to me with how out of nowhere it is. One of my all time favorites.

  20. I went with The Wicker Man, because I loves me that movie. I wish I could have voted for more though because there are quite a few on that list that I enjoy.
