Whether or not today's slew of modern remakes hold up, it is tough to debate the fact that they have nonetheless produced some effective trailers. With THE FOG trailer just recently released on the web, let us consider the other big remake trailers of late, and see which one you liked the most.

The TCM trailer. I've seen all those trailers, but it's the only one that sticks in my mind.

The Texas Chainsaw Massacre trailer by far. I really liked that trailer. I also liked the one in the dark they had as well. Say what you want about the movie, but it was certainly promoted well.

TCM as well. I was torn between that trailer and The Ring though.

Another vote for TCM, with Dawn Of The Dead coming in second.

TCM had the best trailer of all of them. Its a shame that the movie isnt as memorable as the trailer though. None of the films listed will stand the test of time, but years down the road I'll probably enjoy watching DOTD on occassion versus any of the others.

All of them are about even with each other, which isn't too surprising because I wouldn't doubt if they were all made by the same person. I wound up hating the movie, but The Stepford Wives trailers exuded a quirky Tim Burton-esque vibe. It made me a little curious to see it, but not much. NONE of them really inspired me to spend money to see them at the theater, and the ones that I did go see, DAWN OF THE DEAD I was going to see regardless and with THE AMITYVILLE HORROR the ticket was free. I actually think THE FOG has a better trailer than all of them, but it isn't one of the choices.

TCM has the most votes, but IMHO, I thought it would've been excellent had they taken the trailer, kept the first 1 and a half minutes and excised the rest, because it gave too much of the movie away.

I voted for The Ring although TCM is a close second. I truly disliked the TCM remake as a film, though ...

I voted for TCM but I also liked Dark Water, The Grudge, and DOTD. All of them really worked well for me.

TCM... Jessica Biel is just so easy on the eyes. And yes, I liked the movie too, so shoot me!

Definitely TCM... great trailer, and the best TCM movie since the original. Yup, that's right - I went there.
