any of the following Cathedral songs (some cool song names too)...
    - Hopkins (Witchfinder General) - the videoclip contains scenes of the movie
    - Fangalactic Supergoria
    - Night Of The Seagulls
    - Nightmare Castle
    - Satanikus Robotikus
    - The Omega Man
    - Phantasmagoria
    - Voyage Of The Homeless Sapian
    - Vampire Sun
    - Enter The Worms

A coupe of good ones by other bands...

Iron Maiden - Fear Of The Dark

My Dying Bride - It Will Come

    Manowar - Bridge of Death
..."Drink my blood as I drink yours, impale me on the horns of death. Cut off my head, release all my evil, Lucifer is king, Praise Satan" - hahaha, corny & over-the-top as always with Manowar, but a classic epic song!

    My least favorite...
any Cannibal Corpse or Deicide song, or any bands in gore metal and satanic metal scenes that try to be serious (Manowar cannot be taken seriously ;-) I did like Carcass & Brujeria however, they at least had some musical talent.

hahaha What about Iron Maiden - The Wicker Man?

    I myself chose "Other"...

Anyone here ever heard Bloodrock - DOA?
My mom used to play this when we were younger, and it would freak the shit out of me. It's about being in a plane crash and losing your arm and then dying. Creepy shit...

    Luna,
Pseudo Echo is such an underrated, underappreciated new wave act. I think you and I chatted about them a little while ago, no? Anyway, look for "His Eyes" on their S/T debut album, which, unfortunately is only available on vinyl. Or just download the song like everyone else :) But their debut LP is nothing short of great, [no filler] so I highly recommend tracking it down.

Yeah, we did! I love them muchly. I'll probably have to seek out the song elsewhere, as I do not own the vinyl or a record player anymore.

I now have a craving to hear "Destination Unknown" which is possibly my favorite song of theirs.

Bark at the Moon. Not only the best song but the best horror themed video.

The Man Behind the Mask just because of the personal appeal it has for me. And you can't go wrong with 80's slasher cheese mixed with 80's music cheese.

  13. One more vote for Dragula by Rob Zombie. He has a ton of great horror themed stuff, and Dragula is one of my favorites.

And it's a tie between 'Tag, You're It!' and 'Fresh Blood', both by Alice Cooper.

If I was going to vote for Blue Oyster Cult I think Don't Fear the Reaper. I think one of the coolest songs is Nature Trail to Hell by Weird AL.

    I know, I know it's not classic...
    ...
    ...
    But I went with...

Though I certainly wouldn't have been opposed to Othering for LaVern Baker's "Voodoo Voodoo" or Weird Al's "Nature Trail to Hell" or "Slime Creatures from Outer Space."

And, of course, "He's Back" is still epic. Love that one. But... I just love how unique Zombie's dance-metal is.

If I was going to pick a horror themed song from Blue Oyster Cult's Spectres LP, it wouldn't be Godzilla. It'd be Nosferatu. And Alice Cooper has way better horror songs than the song from Jason Lives. Dead Babies, I Love the Dead, Refrigerator Heaven for starters.
