    :D

Sorry, but I'm not a fan of Final Exam.

I might give it a second shot if it ever gets released though.

I'm curious of what special features they can actually attach to this one.

I love Final Exam, but really, I'll believe it when I see an announcement. Seems a little too good to be true.

I've always been curious about this. Lotsa people are split down the middle. Half like it and half hate it. If Hellbilly can't find anything positive to say about it though, I may have to avoid it altogether..

I love Final Exam. I really do. It has a subtle, quite mood that, while some consider boring, I consider spooky.

Can't wait to see what happens with this release.

I hope that it comes out because a. I love it and b. it will give Hellbilly a chance to come to his senses.

Agreed, and the college hijinks are quite fun too, without taking away from the eerie tone. For me, the film is never boring, and it's better than a few of the more celebrated slashers that are out there.

I'm looking forward to this. I saw F.E. on July 10th, 1981. It was, even then, surprisingly tame but it's well made. I've always liked the score, as well. I've always liked the campus they used for the film. My colleges didn't look as cool.
It would be interesting to hear a commentary on the making of a low-budget slasher filmed in the south.

Hellbilly will one day see the light of WILDMAN's crazy, infectious ways. Also, you can't beat a chubby killer. It worked in MADMAN. It worked in DON'T ANSWER THE PHONE. And, dammit, it works here too!

The best part of Final Exam is the last 20 minutes.

Wow, so it looks like this thing is actually happening. Apparently CODE RED is in on the madness too, helping with some special features. They reported about it a few days ago on their blog, and it's complete with some pretty nice looking screenshots:

I remember the Red saying this movie was owned by gangsters and would never see the light of day. Don Vito must have had a change of heart. I'm pretty psyched for this though - it's definitely an under-appreciated slasher that should finally pick up some more fans with this new release.

Well, BCI is the one that is releasing this. Because of their new relationship with Code Red, they are getting CR to do the special features. If Code Red wasn't in the picture, BCI would still be releasing Final Exam, and most likely, Deimos would instead be the ones in charge of extras, etc.
