I think he looks like Drew Barrymore in Firestarter, only not as cute.
Ha ha. yeah definatly.
No thanks. With all the script nonsense and a tenuous faith in Rob Zombie's ability to direct himself out of a paper bag, this movie looks fucking dumb and I don't want anything to do with it..
Introducing Dr. Loomis:
Annie, Laurie & Lynda:
and lastly another picture of Michael:
Dr Loomis looks cool
Laurie must be a geek, she's wearing glasses.
Is she going on to do Scooby Doo 3 right after this?
I like the look of the girls. It's a shame that Michael will have to kill them. Think of what might have been......*sniffle* sorry, getting a little misty-eyed here...
Oh no she's "Hollywood" geek. So she won't be hot until she takes off the glasses.
annnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnd YAY Danielle Harris!
I think the casting and the micheal myers look pretty good actually- its just gonna be so hard for anyone to accept this movie whether it is good or not- Im looking forward to seeing it and I think Zombie has a better chance to pull this off than most of the recent horror directors out there. It could totally suck too- Im thinking 50-50 odds on it being either pretty good or pretty bad.
Well don't get me wrong, I too think Zombie will make a decent effort. I have yet to see evidence he's a good filmmaker, but as I've written countles times, what the Halloween series needs more than anything else is some nastiness, it had gotten too pat. Zombie can at least do that, surely?
The casting of the girls is weak though. TYhe glasses thing is just... blah. And that Lynda doesn't look the promiscuous type. But then, we mustn't forget, this is a different movie.
HA! Coming from someone who directs movies, I find that suprisingly narrow-minded. You've read an early script and seen, what, maybe four screenshots? How would you like people to judge your shit like that?
Hey, people can look at my work any way they want. Hell, they already do. Why do I have to be open minded? There are things I like and things that I don't, and I know that I won't lose sleep not seeing this.
The cast looks good. The girls kinda have a '70s original TCM look to them don't they?
Some of U are complaining already and claiming you'll "stay away"...did U guys really enjoy the sh*t out of H2O and H8?!?!? The series NEEDED this re-invention!
I guess some of U guys enjoy rappers like LL Cool J & Busta Rhymes kicking Michael around!
Like I said before, I'll probably see it at some point but my expectations are very low. In my opinion it is a very unnecessary remake and doesn't need any "re-invention" of any kind. I'll even go so far as to say they should have never made a sequel to the original.
Well, in my case, I wanted a Halloween 7.
The fact that the franchise is this tired that it "needs" a re-invention indicates to me that they should have left well enough alone. It's endemic of the industry now. Why not create some new icons?
Just a thought.
Because then we get characters like Abbott Hayes:
Children of the Living Dead = TRUE HORROR :nervous: :nervous:
Oh god that film sux, it started I was like ah not 2 bad then 30 seconds later I was like TURN THIS EVIL OFF!!
It is much easier to work with what you've got--in this case, Michael Myers. Personally, I'd rather see a remake of Halloween over another sequel, although I did thoroughly enjoy H20 and Resurrection.
Yes, I enjoy H8, thank you.
