Found came out today on DVD. This region 1 disc is the only way to get the film uncut. Future releases in other regions will be censored. The UK will lose 4 seconds from the film's climax and Australia will lose 2 minutes from the film.

The US releases comes with an audio commentary by the director and author, the complete "Headless" short film, and the complete "Deep Dwellers" short film. It is currently only $12.74 on Amazon.

Excellent independent movie. Yes, it has flaws - disappointing acting, confusion over when it occurs, character motivation - but has some extraordinary moments and is actually moving at times. Quite sick but always true to itself.

Has anybody read the book on which it is based?

Funny, I couldn't "find" this thread the other day when I had just watched Found from the library. Loved it so much I watched it again the next day. Any word if the BD will be region free?
I have to admit though, on the first viewing, that ending was about the funnest line ever. On second viewing, it lost a lot of impact waiting for it. Still an awesome flick and I'm fucking flabbergasted it only cost $8K to make. So funny that many can't do half this good with 8 million!

I just watched the crowd-funded Headless film that was created from the fake film in Found. In short it's a fantastic throwback gore flick. Great on effects and great on creating the feeling that you are watching something from the 70's. I highly recommend!

I wonder if XLRator has simply given up on physical media altogether and are starting to relinguish the physical media rights back to the producers. It seems that they're still picking up and releasing films theatrically and via streaming services, but they haven't released a DVD or Blu-Ray in over a year and a lot of the previous releases (including the Found DVD) have gone OOP.

Love both Found and Headless. Both are effective little horror films and although they suffer from bad acting (especially Found) I still like them despite that.

I checked it out recently because HorrorHound listed it as one of the Top 100 horror movies of the '00s. While it's not a bad movie, putting on a list of Top anything seems excessive. It's a pretty mediocre movie saved by a great final shot, IMHO.

I watched this a couple of years ago based on the hype in this thread and I honestly kind of hated it. I don't remember much about it now other than a 2-foot long boner and some poor acting by everyone except maybe the kid (and I'm usually not one to really care about acting), but I remember pretty strongly disliking it. I was just thinking maybe it found it too gross and mean-spirited to be enjoyable, but looking at my film tracking list from 2015, I watched this the day after I watched Corpse Mania. That movie's gross as shit and I loved it, so I'm not sure that's it.

What ever happened to Ash28M who started this thread? I used to like most of his movie recommendations, haven't seen him post in a while.
