That's my thinking as well.
This might be the day I finally pull the trigger on this. Best Buy has it in store for $99. I just got a $5 coupon, and Walmart has it for $89. Price match that bitch, take $5 off and I get my set for $84. $5 more than I paid for the Halloween set. This way I can inspect the tins too to ensure there's no dents.
I'm sure this has been mentioned multiple times, but is there any reason to keep any of the standalone Blu releases?
Not reallY, the discs are identical as far as I know
Thanks. Ordered it up in store - they apparently didn't have any in the store so they're Fed-Ex'ing me one at no cost - price matched and $5 off = $84 done.
Funny thing, I could have said anything on the price match - they didn't even look at my phone when I threw them the Overstock.com price. I shoulda said like $69
You ordered it from Best Buy to have it shipped to you? It will be crushed into a soda can shape. I would have just given you my case since I threw mine out since we live so close.
OK until Vinnie and I get things sorted and ready at BT I have started uploading this to Usenet, it is in the HDTV section, just search Jason Goes to Hell Unrated BD25.
Sent you a PM.
If it's crushed it's going right back to the store
Sent who a PM? if me I never got any.
Nice Bro - downloading at Binsearch. Is there a password?
Yes there is, it is KHodder.
That sucks. This should have been dirt cheap long ago. Perhaps when the next Friday the 13th comes out.
Maybe, or they'll just release a new set. I'd be OK with that if they fix the issues with the current set and have uncut prints of the films that have the footage in existence.
It's coming to blu torrents right? I
Since Paramount obtained the distribution rights back from Warner, I feel fairly certain that these discs will be repackaged at some point. Hopefully individually for the people who already purchased the first three. I can't imagine Paramount would add anything.
Who knows. I don't think anyone expected to see the Leprechaun on blu yet Lionsgate released a set with all of them and a decent documentary (split up for each film) to go with it.
It's doubtful much new will happen with the Friday films but there's always that slim change we could get a surpringly good release. I'm doubting they'll get individual releases though as I'd imagine these more money for them in the sets, especially if they throw in some new things to entice those that already have the films.
I'm surprised the set hasn't come down to at least the high $70's by now. Regardless, $84 is a good deal for this collection. Over a year ago, some people here on this very thread said I'll buy it when it's under $35. And how they are patient.
You're gonna be waiting a long time imo.
I got mine for low $60s from Barnes & Noble during one of their 40% off sales.
Actually, I believe their next 40% off sale starts tomorrow (June 9th). The set should be $77.99. If they have any coupons available, that will make it even less.
Yeah, I'm content with $84 and I'll get some of that back once I sell off the individual releases. $35? Pffft, that'll never happen. I was kinda waiting for like $70's, so this was close enough.
