Ha, funny. Thanks, I fixed it. Actually maybe I should leave it. Anybody named Garcia would have gotten a laugh over the main cast. Hell, serial killer Anthony Garcia is more funny than this director or script.
It was a better remake than The Evil Dead. And baggio, the dance scene is in the extended cut. No Thriller, it is the Bee Gees.
Hmm strongly disagree. I didn't mind Ghostbusters, but I really had to forgive it's contempt for the original. It was quite satirical and lacked the legitimate moments of creepiness the 1984 film had. Evil Dead, on the other hand, at least had fans of the original and horror fans in general in mind regardless of whether or not it succeeded in living up to expectations.
I grew up with the original Ghostbusters and didn't find the new film as offensive as I feared it would be. Actually didn't find it offensive, period. So sue me. And for all of the lamentation about the ghosts being too scooby doo, that precedent had already been broken 27 years ago with Ghostbusters 2.
GB2 still had edge. The Scoleri Brothers alone are about as scary if not scarier than anything in GB 2016.
watched both cuts the extended cut made it feel like it was a more complete movie but overall I just didn't care for the movie itself and rate it 2/5 both cuts
Hmm. Well my wife and I watched the extended version the other night. She laughed once and I smiled three or four times. I really wanted to like this. I really did. The steller leads just had very little to work with in terms of writing which is an abomination considering the chemistry they all had. I found myself waiting for the original cast members to appear and was completely taken out of the movie with Bill Murray's scenes. The bust of Harold Ramis alone would have been satisfactory. I find Kate McKinnon to be extreamly sexy and while she wasn't given the dialogue to match her talent, her expressions and body language were priceless. 2 out of 5 for me.
I just can't bring myself to watch it. I'm one of the most optimistic movie fans you'll ever meet but this looks so awful I can't bother to watch it. Life is too short and I'm pissed that they made this with little to no regard for the original fanbase.
Totally agree. The extended version felt more like a final cut. But I wasn't overly happy about the alternate lines used always. Some were funnier in the theatrical.
How's it feel to be wrong? Ha ha ha: well, as a member of that original fanbase / as big a fan of the 1984 film as anyone here, I declare they have official license to make whatever movie they want with however much or little regard for whoever they choose. S'there. Incorrect.
