A list of Feature Films tagged "Horror" not rated higher than 4.9/10 (IMDb) released in 1985. These are the 20 most "popular" titles based on voting counts in this category.

*sigh* Future-Kill. I don't think any film has made me feel as guilty as this one. It had a killer poster, a great concept, and an awesome soundtrack. But the film as a whole is just a complete disaster. The execution is terrible, the jokes fall flat, the acting is atrocious and annoying, and Splatter is nowhere near as menacing as he should be.

This is one of those rare occasions where I'll be the first to say "REMAKE THIS FILM."

Creature !!! Followed closely by Friday 5 and Howling 2, both crazy sequels with some of the greatest breasts ever seen in a mainstream movie !

Tough to choose... but Future-Kill is just awesome badness. Creature (Titan Find) would come a close second.

...and Hard Rock Zombies would definitely get an honorable mention. That is such a mind fuck of a movie.

You won't see me voting against a Paramount Friday...ever!

Howling II is kind of a surrealist masterpiece though. No film has a better end credits. Not even up for debate.

Transylvania 6-5000. Geena Davis never, ever looked so good. Her breasts were magnificent in that film.

As far as favorite "guilty" pleasure goes, it's a toss-up between Nail Gun Massacre, Howling II, and Evils of the Night. Nail Gun takes it, though.

Too bad The Mutilator has a rating of 5.1. Just barely too high. I would have expected it to be lower, which is why I looked it up.

Friday the 13th Part V which is nowhere near my favorite Friday, but I've seen it so many more times than anything else on this list.

Friday 5 seems to be a film that has gained a lot of fans over the years. It's still one of my least favourite in the Paramount run. I went with Howling 2 here, what a mess of a film, but oh so much fun!

Friday the 13th: A New Beginning. Really don't get the hate for it, sure its not the greatest entry in the series but its not as bad as people make out

Friday 5 is honestly my favorite of these, but I decided to show some love to the awesome badness of Splatter. I also agree that Hard Rock Zombies is incredible too!

Friday 5 - it is pretty weak but it also has a few redeeming moments in it that make me go back to watch it again and again.
