A list of Feature Films tagged "Horror" not rated higher than 4.9/10 (IMDb) released in 2000. These are the 20 most "popular" titles based on voting counts in this category.

Will you be going back, into the late 70's? :) I could definitely find some movies there, which the average IMDB user doesn't appreciate as much as I do (The Dark, The Incredible Melting Man, Squirm).

I voted for Dracula 2000, because I enjoy it...and for that, I feel very guilty indeed.

Blair Witch 2, and I don't feel the least bit guilty about it either.

Wow, another really good batch of titles. I loved most of these.

Had to go with Cherry Falls, but the thing I feel "guilty" about is not being able to vote for some of the others.

I loved Book Of Shadows: Blair Witch 2 and Urban Legends: Final Cut. Both are really fun sequels, and in a lot of ways they best the original.

As a slasher fanatic, I also love both Cut and Lovers Lane. Both extremely entertaining slasher films, two I still find myself watching on a regular basis.

Also, I was very impressed with Spiders. I remember watching that one on USA when they premiered it, and I had a blast. I think they actually premiered Cherry Falls, Terror Tract, and Crocodile all in that same week (it was October and they had a straight week of premiere horror movies). The fifth film was Octopus, the only dud of the bunch.

I went with Book of Shadows. I need to revisit it, but I remember it being decent and I liked all the hidden stuff in it.

The only movie I've seen here is Cut. And, I truly do believe that movie might be worse than Saw. Which is my most hated horror film of all-time.

I think Cut might actually be the worst horror film I have ever seen. In my life.

I went with Book of Shadows, I love the Blair Witch franchise and part II might not have been as strong as the first but I loved the WTF ending which was downright psychedelic.

Dracula 2000 is really not so bad as people make it out to be, I quite liked that one too.

I never understood the esteem people hold towards Cherry Falls, I've got the DVD and it's "ok" but nothing spectacular.

Blair Witch 2 for me too - I had expected it to be so awful from the reviews but oddly I loved it. I know its not a good movie but for some reason I just enjoy watching it. If it wasnt for Blair Witch 2 i would have voted for Devil in the Flesh 2 - another guilty pleasure of mine
