A list of Feature Films tagged "Horror" not rated higher than 4.9/10 (IMDb) released in 2006. These are the 20 most "popular" titles based on voting counts in this category.

One of the easiest polls yet for me. Dark Ride, one of my favorite slasher movies from the past decade. LOVED it, and I'm so grateful I got to see it on the big screen.

But Simon Says and the Black Christmas remake are extremely fun goofy little slasher movies, I thoroughly enjoy both.

I had a hard time choosing between WICKER MAN and BLACK X-MAS since both embody what, to me, a true "guilty pleasure" is: I know I shouldn't enjoy them, but I just can't help myself. Most of these polls have been filled with titles I have either never seen or hated outright.

I went with BLACK X-MAS since I actually bought it.

Voted Black Christmas even though the movie kind of stinks.

Kind of? If you mean "completely, totally, and unequivocally," then, yeah, "kind of."

Cage's The Wicker Man pairs beautifully with half a fifth of liquor. You'll laugh until your stomach hurts.

I actually like a few titles in this poll. I eventually went with The Wicker Man, and I am probably one of the few (Is there anyone other than me?) that actually enjoy the movie as a movie, and not as a mess of a film. I remember leaving the theatre thinking it was not as good as the original, but still a decent remake.

You're not the only one. I have a very clear memory of reading Rhett's love letter to the remake many years ago: http://www.horrordigital.com/viewarticle.php?articleid=460&highlight=wicker+man

Black Christmas. Lots and lots of fun. Also liked Pulse, Simon Says, and the house in When A Stranger Calls.
