    So..this is it ..is it?

    Now released in Italy:
    http://www.kultvideo.com/scheda.asp?item=14759&type=DVD&key=2
    NO ENGLISH OPTION!!!:fire: :fire:
It seems that it's the uncut version though
which is a plus and more extras than the SS disc, but all in Italian :(.

Now we just have to wait for some company (*cough* Alpha Digital *cough*)to make a hybrid ;)

Or just suck it up and buy the SS edition?

Seriously, some of you guys jump through hoops over pretty small details. Yeah, SS kinda dropped the ball, not giving us a full widescreen uncut version, but at least you can watch the damn movie! For the last year, some of you have been talking about Italian discs, discs from other countries, learning Italian, whatever, while the rest of us just reach up to our shelves and throw the movie in the player.

(I guess the fact that I didn't like Lizard that much...way less than Don't Torture a Duckling may be a factor too...)

I'd rather wait, and see Lizard in it's best format, than rush it and ruin the expirence.

It's like watching Suspiria or Halloween UNCUT in a Fullscreen VHS transfer. Or watching it CUT, in a nice transfer. By watching it in either format, it breaks and kills the expirence badly.

And, with all these different DVD's popping up regarding Lizard, one of them will soon someday be the one that we are all waiting for.

At one point, it was said no uncut good print existed. Now we have an uncut good print, all an english DVD company now needs to do, is just slap English Subs on it.

    From my Blog:

Ok, the new Federal Video DVD of "Lizard in a Woman's Skin" was released July 6th in Italy and according to folk on the Nocturno and CGHV forums, we might just be onto a winner. The DVD runs 98:15 (PAL) and appears to have have the lesbian scenes, the vivisection scenes and the murder scene with the boxcutters intact. These scenes seem to be of a lower quality as they seem to have got them from a different source. The DVD case says "Versione Integrale" (Full Uncut Version) and the extras include:

La censura e le verisoni del film (The history of the films censorship problems)
    Scena inedita (Deleted Scene)
Titoli di testa italiani originali (The original Italian credits)
Intervista a Paolo Albiero ( studioso del cinema di Fulci ) (Interview with a Fulci expert)
    Biografie (Bio's)

Only downside is the lack of English subs, but what a time to start learning Italian.

To protect myself from flack - I would take this info as 99% accurate as you just never know but my copy is being ordered asap!

Very cool, I had my doubts but it looks like my doubts were missplaced. And that's a very good e-mail you sent them, I think we'll all be interested to hear their response.

I dunno you might scare them off with that kind of time commitment.

That's pretty cool though and I wonder what kind of video degradation was introduced into the final product from all the conversions.(That can only be speculated upon due to the lack of any techincal details)
