Just to let you all know, there's one feature Davis DVD missed on "Halloween: 25 Years Of Terror".

An original 24 page comic called "Autopsis", which will only be available exclusively with this release.

Having been involved with this since the beginning, I can tell you that there will be a lot of bang for your buck. :)

Well, I would assume so, but since it is being put out by Anchor Bay, it'll retail for about $19.99 in a regular store. You could just get it there, and that's decent for a 2 discer with all that content, plus the comic.

Still, I'm sure someone will be offering it on Ebay. :)

Just a heads up, I found this at Best Buy yesterday (and picked one up)!! I didn't see the divixmax dvds of H4 or 5 though.

On a somewhat related note, I saw Rob Zombie in concert a few hours ago and he used the Halloween theme as the intro to his set! It was badass hearing that song blasted in front of thousands of fans!

Edit: I just got done watching disc1 and was quite impressed with the "main" documentary. It's good to finally get some stuff on the sequels, especially Halloween 3.

wow Best Buy had it out a week early? Pleasant surprise. I wish my best buy would do that. I might check this afternoon.
    Was it $14.99?
I wonder if it will be on sale next week when it is supposed to street.

Just finished watching the documentary. It's an awesome piece of work, really informative on the whole series. Every film gets about equal time in the doc.

I'm wondering... did Best Buy have any exclusive featurette included with theirs or anything like that? They sometimes do with Anchor Bay titles.

How/Why are some Best Buy stores releasing one/all of these DVDs early? I might have to make a special trip to Best Buy to see if they have anything released early. If so, I'll be up all night watching Halloween extras!

Because most likely they were received in a box that didn't have a warning of street date on them. Anchor Bay, Shreik Show, and Blue Underground Dvds are often sent without documentation of street date, so BB is under no obligation to hold the DVD.

Thanks for answering my question. As it turns out, I checked 2 BB stores and neither had any of the DVDs released early.

What's taking so long for horrordvd.com to review these new DVDs? Don't they usually review stuff before it's released to the general public? I've noticed the same reviews at the top of the main page for weeks now.
