So just buy the solo disc. Can´t understand the reason behind your post!
Does anyone really ever understand what Francis is saying
The madness, the madness
awesome........ Hey I didn't think I would the Friday box set.. and iam glad I did..
The solo release does not include the original mono mix! They screwed up with that release. And for the box sex. Shout Factory was able to get A.B. to repress the disc and get the original mono mix included for real this time, and in uncompressed form to boot!
Day One for me!!!
It never bothered me once I heard those lush opening titles. I didn't even notice it. I don't know why they did it, and I don't understand why they did it, but I don't care either way. That said, if you're going to do a definitive Halloween collection, not doing it seems silly.
yeah but the original score was never mated to the final cut.
This is a nice set but not for me. I'll wait with fingers crossed for a solo release of Halloween 6 Producer's Cut.
Blurry image from SDCC...
Just realized that the slip covers for II and III, and the new artwork for each, will most likely not be included in this. which is fine. but i think i may keep the slips when i sell my copies, and put them over the respective releases in the box set. just because i can.
Looks like Scream confirmed that the only new transfer on 6 - 8 will be the Producer's Cut of 6. So seems that H20 will be the same transfer in the correct aspect ratio.
Since the Halloween 4 blu-ray is a direct port, the 4/5 discussion panel will surely be included. I'm also glad they included the missing DiviMax making-of featurettes for 4 and 5. Are the most glaring omitions the commentary from 4 by screenwriter Alan B. McElory and the Unmasking the Horror featurette from H20? Resurrection is also missing a webcam special with directory commentary but it was only on the DVD to begin with. I hope H20 is not the same transfer with just the aspect ratio fixed. Blu-ray.com did not give it a favorable rating so I'll hang onto my Canadian triple feature blu-ray until some reviews come out.
I was only kidding earlier, but technically it is missing the Creed "What's This Life For?" music video from Halloween: H20. We'll live.
Creed: "What's This Life For?" Music Video (Halloween: H20 Version)
No Creed video = no Halloween boxset
Amazon.ca has the Deluxe 15 disc set back up for $94.10
(Free shipping in Canada)
Will this set be exactly the same as the US release? No french packaging, or differences in audio/subtitles?
I have no past experience with Canadian Anchor Bay releases, hence my question.
I recall they were always English only. Not manufactured by a Canadian wing of AB that would be subject to those regulations. Same with Scream Factory.
