In order for the set to have bilingual packaging, every film in it has to have a French audio track. They do not so I don't think we have to worry about bilingual packaging.

i dropped by a few second hand stores today to see what i could get for my collection of Halloween blu-rays. The answer: peanuts. Looks like I won't be getting this after all.

Second hands stores don't give you shit for anything. You have to sell them online to make some money.

i don't have the patience for that. plus, after looking online, most are available for pretty cheap, and to make mine move, i'd have to price them even lower...then sit around twiddling my thumbs while i hope someone bites. not to mention how pissed i'd be if only a couple of them sold.

the more i think about it though, the less disappointed i am...2-5 are virtually identical to what i have. the biggest upgrades are for the last 3 films, unquestionably the worst of the series. all i'm really missing out on is the two new commentaries on the first one (all i have is the original anchor bay BD). it's just not worth the trouble.

It's definitely a waiting game doing it online. It's also the the only way you'll probably make $10 a piece for the blu's you have though. If you don't care about the box set it's no big deal though; crisis averted ;)

yeah, that's more or less how i saw it too. i think i will give amazon a try for a few standalone discs i have that i've been trying to find a decent price for. but for an all-or-nothing situation like my Halloween discs, I don't think it would work for me. no problem, though. it would have been neat to have the whole box and everything, but it's not going to affect my quality of life to not have it.

Looks kind of meh. I think they could have done something more original with it. Less is more, I guess.

Someone mentioned that these might be reversible. I don't recall reading that anywhere myself though.

Yeah, from day one I thought the outer box looked like something drawn by one of those painters/artists who have a show on public access tv, only with no talent.
