I was going to have to hold onto my Halloween 4 special edition anyway because it includes the additional commentary by screenwriter Alan McElroy.

I think the set looks awesome! Do you guys really want another box set with book-style packaging that scratches the discs every time you pull them out? Because I don't.

The packaging (ie: actual amaray cases with original art) is half the reason I'm buying it!

Alien was nice. Friday the 13th was not. Also had issues with Indiana Jones.

I'm so glad to finally have a boxset where each movie has it's own amaray case. Those books are annoying.

It's the other way around for me. Consolidation (and the Producer's Cut) were the main draws but this won't actually do much to reduce space on my shelves. It's a shame they're recycling the existing art from all the different studios. I know it's original art but it just feels like a mishmash - there's no consistency. Just my opinion.

Any word about the extras for part 4 that were announced for the Anchor Blu and later dropped? Didn't they mention deleted scenes?

Glad they're still adding extras! Hopefully the added scenes from the TV version of H20 are on the way.

I hadn't realized that there were added scenes for H20. About how many minutes worth?

The TV cut of H20 used to appear on FX (that's how I got my copy). one extra scene that really stands out is Jame LC and that older teacher guy (can't remember his name) have a dialogue scene and she's cutting up a pumpkin during that. I think there are other bits and pieces throughout. Nothing too important but are interesting.

I will definitely be keeping an eye out for them to re-run this cut in the upcoming months (if those scenes are not included in this set, I hope FX are aware of how many people will be interested in their version).

Yeah, "TV Version" scenes for any movie are usually seen as filler but they can often also give some needed character development and mood. I'm really hoping they become an added bonus for this set.
