Same here. It's a pleasant surprise. Hopefully most of what we want will be included by the time it's released.

I wonder if the H20 Ottoman score scenes will be incorporated into the movie via seamless branching?

Also am happy to have the Resurrection head cam version as I got a kick out of it in the DVD release. I didn't realize it was originally missing.

Now if only we could get the missing commentary on Halloween 4 and deleted H20 scenes I would be very happy. The tv scenes from part 1 in hi def would also be a plus, but as long as they are good quality DVD maybe it won't be too jarring.

I cannot wait until this set comes out!

Did they ever get the rights to the Halloween 4/5 discussion panel? If not, it's another reason to hold onto the special edition of part 4. Commentary by screenwriter Alan McElroy is also included and will not be in this set.

On Shout Factory's website, they are sold out of the Limited Run Complete Collection. On their website it says only 500 available. I'm wondering if this is the total amount Shout Factory had available for pre-order on their website, or if that is the actual total that is available throughout the US.

Go to:shoutfactory.com, then click on Horror: View All, and scroll down until you see Halloween Complete Collection, and before they list all the extras, in bold print is says: Only 500 Available! If that is all they have total I'm so glad I pre-ordered my May 28th.

500 is just the number of lithographs available that come with the first 500 you order directly from scream, not the number of deluxe editions available.

Thank you for the clarification Mikey Horror. I wish it had been explained a little bit more on their website. I ordered it on amazon.com

6 and 8 seemed to have good transfers anyway. But H20's had problems.

Went through Shout's facebook and apparently the Ottoman scored H20 scenes will not be incorporated into the movie, just a separate extra. Damn. Still will be cool to see though.

    ^ Haha yes!

But would it be that hard for Shout to plug those scenes in? We dont need the entire film re scored. Just a few scenes would be fine.

I'm still holding out hope for the deleted Halloween 5 scenes.

that link infers that H20 will be the same transfer just in the correct aspect ratio this time. Pretty sure it will be the 3 echo bridge transfers.

The never said they were using the Echo Bridge masters (though using Resurrection is no skin off my nose). The list lists Curse as 1080p while the Echo Bridge release was 1080i. It probably stands to reason that Miramax gave them the masters for the StudioCanal releases.

It won't be the echo bridge encodes. Sure they're not doing new transfers but I bet you anything they'll at least be new encodes. The current transfers are fine, like someone said, they just handled them wrong. They were shitty encodes. You guys actually think they're gonna give us 1080i transfers? Come on.

What was the price of the complete set when it came out for pre-order? It's now $118.96 plus shipping.

Has it raised a lot in price?
