Awesome! My status is still the same ACTIVE/CANCEL and my credit card is still showing the hold on it. I paid the $4.95 shipping. Did it come UPS or regular mail? My mail just came today and nothing.:(

? Just open one and then send the other one back to whoever. Neither place is going to be able to tell the difference.

This has got to be the best week in Horror Digital history. Forums members have been blessed with page after page of Amazon shipping updates and griping about TCM. It sure beats having reasonable access to useful information. Riveting stuff. Thank you all

If you bought the deluxe edition, pop in the bonus disc, watch the Horror's Hallowed Grounds bus tour segment and see if you can spot our very own Rhett and his lovely lady friend. He's in it so much you'd think it was a documentary about him.

I'm pretty sure you are under no obligation to return it and I'm also pretty sure they can't tack on any additional charges without your consent. You authorized a payment for $26.68 in good faith based on the price their website displayed. If they already shipped the item, I'm pretty sure they'd have to honor the price you paid.

The Canadian two pack Blu with the theatrical cuts do not have any extra extras including commentaries.

And damn that's too bad about Halloween 2 DVD. Hopefully someone on this forum has it and can answer whether or not the commentary on the Theatrical DVD is different than the commentary on the unrated Blu.

Yeah I cancelled my order from Amazon.ca as well after arguing with them for 5 min. They still hadn't even shipped it out today. They said I need Prime or to pay $6 extra for them to ship it on release day. I asked them what the point of pre-ordering was then if they just ship it a week later, and told them I can order with free shipping from Futureshop or Best Buy and have it shipped on or before the release date. Not to mention just walk into HMV and get it right away. Their shipping has become ridiculous since they started Prime.

That's awesome! He wasn't the one guy on the bus who raised his hand when the crowd was asked who liked the Rob Zombie films was he? :)

That seems to be Amazon's new policy. "We're sorry, but if you want exceptional customer service, you know, the kind we used to give for free? Well, now it's called Prime and will cost you $100 per year." Yeah. Fuck Amazon.

Yeah. Fuck amazon. It's the exact same price at HMV. That's where I got it yesterday. Don't wanna ship stuff on time? Well fuck you, you assholes are out $100. I'll take my business elsewhere THANK YOU VERY MUCH.

I hope someone on blu-ray.com is able to post some data or a video comparison of the H4 sync issue, and how it differs from the previous H4 blu ray (and the H4 divimax for that matter)

I'd say either better or roughly the same. The scenes were upscaled and there's a noticeable drop in quality.

I mean they were taken from the same source as the 1999 DVD so...

I posted about it this morning and didn't notice it too much, but then I rechecked the H4 disc from the set on a big screen and it was pretty apparent. The sync is off by a little bit from around the 42 minute mark to the 57 minute mark. It doesn't look like a bad kung fu dub, but mouths keep moving a little after the lines have finished. I checked my AB Blu and the issue is not there, so I swapped out the discs. I never noticed an issue during the years I owned the Divimax DVD.

But everyone (including shout factory) is also saying that the issue was on the previous blu ray, just not as bad.

...Although with my crappy Sony sound bar that has never worked well, it's not like I'd probably notice anyway...
