When I looked it up online it said the Best Buy at the beach had it in stock. I called my wife and she went their on her lunch hour and the bastards didn't have it. :( I'll probably end up getting it online too dammit.

Got mine at Best Buy for $10.99. Watched it. This is the 5th time I've bought this movie, and hopefully the last. I think this DVD is about the best this film will ever look. It's always been a drab, ugly film, and except for the gore parts, there's really not much going on here. Still, a classic of Italian exploitation and WELL worth the cheap price at BB.

I've found that their online in-store stock indicator is pretty much worthless, unless it's a major title that they've advertized in their weekly flyer.

I've often checked online and it will indicate that it's not in stock at the store here... then I'll drive over and the bastards will have 10 copies sitting on the shelf.

Same experience here...I have seen product on the shelves after their website told me it was not in stock...the online stock indicator says the one across the street from me does not have it (anthropophagus)...I was there today and their system said they had two...however the employee could not find it for me...I was not able to find it in any other places either.

I was at a BEST BUY yesterday and they did not have it. I'm glad to hear though that some BEST BUY stores do have it and for the low price of $10.99 so I will have to try another BEST BUY location later this week.

I have 2 other locations that are somewhat close to me.

Believe me sir, I have tried but it's just so damn enticing. I mean where else can you find vidoes of monkeys, hyenas, bald eagles and pigs all engaged in the ultimate sexual perversion?
    Damn you internet! :(

After watching the new DVD, I kept thinking that "Freakshow" from Harold And Kumar Go To White Castle looks surprisingly similar to George Eastman's classic monster from Anthropophagus! Anyone else think so?

Also Now I hope that someone puts out a widescreen DVD of ABSURD (aka Monster Hunter, Grim Reaper 2) soon. I think I actually prefer the sequel to the original.

I, too, looked online to see if it was "available in my area." It said no, so I went to Best Buy and they were right, it wasn't there. I found One Dark Night and decided to come back later that week for it. Well, my girlfriend bought it for me for Valentine's Day so I checked AGAIN, and there it was.

Why does BB have to be so confusing? Most of the time, I can movies for a lot cheaper at work, but this time I couldn't, so I had to buy it.

Yea, i called the one in hollywood, they said it would be there on vday, I show up after work (and yes before a date, my v day did not consist of hunting antro!). those stupid fuckers now say, they have one copy in transit, a couple are supposedly at one of the beaches and a few in the valley. driving out there would negate them price, so i will hope the one copy comes in and that I am able to get it. i told them to order more, but they said they wouldnt until the one copy sold.

The audio is shit? Are you talking about as bad as the shitty audio on the Twitch of the Death Nerve dvd? Can anyone else confirm this?

The BB website is really good in my experiances. The cheap shipping has always been really fast for me.

I didn't check the movie out again, but I did watch Joe D'Amato Totally Uncut Part 2. It's a really great feature on one of my favorite directors with lots of fun stories and information. Gotta love when he calls Klaus Kinski a "whore". Definitally worth checking out.

Oh man, I've ordered from them twice before and it was a literal nightmare. Perhaps (hopefully) they've improved since then, but I'm hesitant to ever order from their website again.
