Yes Hello Mary Lou-Prom Night 2 has finally been released on DVD… In Canada.

It is released through Alliance, and is readily available at any HMV. It is Full Frame with a decent enough picture, Dolby 2.0. No extras to speak of unless you count scene selection and subtitles, but it does has nice little musical menus.

Here’s the kicker the price is $6.99 Canadian with levels out to about 4 bucks US.

Have you checked the picture quality on that release? I have the laserdisc, which is full frame, but if the DVD has a much better picture, I'll pick it up.

    I really liked this movie.

Hell yeah! I have this on video, and I can't wait to upgrade.I will be surprised if they keep the original video art (which I like a lot). I also have the poster, though it is a little tattered.

HMV is partnered with amazon.ca and it is 8.99 (cheaper in the store at 6.99 !) online in Canadian funds.

As par picture quality it is decent and looks slightly better than VHS, sound is good to. All and all for 7 bucks you can`t go wrong.

I am just glad it has hit the DVD world. Now if they would release Prom Night 4 - Deliver Us From Evil, I would be a happy man.

That deal is too good to pass up, I just ordered it from DVDSoon. I've always loved the entire Prom Night series, and it has been awhile since I've seen Hello Mary Loo, so I can't wait. When I get the disc I will do a full review of it for the site hopefully!

The cover art is OK, but it's still not as good as the original cover art!

The original cover art is way better. It has Mary Lou dressed in Prom attire, inside of a locker with mucho cleavage. "In 1957, Mary Lou Maloney went up in flames. Now she's back. And she's burning mad!"
