I saw this on TV in the early to mid-80s. It could have possibly been featured on Elvira's TV series. Anyway, the movie starts off with a woman being chased down some stone stairs (maybe spiral shaped) possibly in a castle and she is pleading with the unknown stalker to not kill her. At one point, she says, "Do you want to rape me? I'll make you feel good." I know it seems rather strong for TV, but this is how I remember it. I also remember the movie being rather gothic and creepy, it's more likely to be a European film than an American film.

I have no idea what it is, but I've seen it. Your desciption brought the memory right out of nowhere. Now I want to know too! Dang. Someone will have it soon, and I thank them in advance.

It's not New York Ripper is it? That's the only thing I can think of right now, but am almost positive it's not the right movie.

The dialogue you quoted sounds just like the Liz character in "The Funhouse" when she's pleading with the monster not to kill her. Everything else is a mystery.

I just watched a trailer for SCREAM AND SCREAM AGAIN that showed a snippet of a scene that seems similar to what you describe. The scene takes place outside in daylight, apparently next to a stone staircase and as a man is kissing her on the neck she says to him "You don't have to hurt me". It's been a while since I've seen the movie proper so I don't really remember the sequence.

Finally, I figured this one out. The movie is Deadly Games from 1982. Not sure why I originally thought it had a gothic feel cause this movie surely doesn't. On a side note, this movie is total crap, but I'm glad I finally got to see it again after all these years.

Glad you figured it out. Nothing better when you finally get the answer. Did you find it by accident?

I would have never guessed that considering this thing hasn't ever gotten a proper DVD release in any region.

Yeah, I sure did. I was just going through some movies I hadn't seen and decided to give this one a shot. I had no idea this was going to be the movie with that scene.
