I don't know if this belongs in the off topic area. But it reminded me of so many crazy scenes in horror movies when the masses start to go crazy for unknown reasons. Like in some of those Cronenberg movies. And I remember we were talking about Burger King's American chicken sandwich somewhere around here in a topic.

Anyway, I saw this video today. Near the end when they all run out of the store to get the woman is where it reminded me of a horror movie.

A few weeks ago, I was reading about Popeye's getting a sandwich back. Also that someone was stabbed over a Popeye's chicken sandwich. It sounded crazy. So I looked up more stories and videos. Here is a compliation but there are tons more. I just spent too much time watching them.

This one is really crazy. Jumping in the drive thru!

I don't eat fried chicken anymore. I think I tried the majority of fast food chicken and sandwiches some years ago. But something has to be in the sandwich to make people act like this.

I actually had one of these sandwiches the day they first released it, before everyone went nuts over it. It's a good sandwich, but it's nothing to go crazy over. Scary seeing grown adults act like this over something so stupid.

There is a place called Portillo's in Illinois that has the best chicken sandwich that I've come across in the last few years. I tell them no mayo though.

I just saw more Popeye's crazy stuff. This time with two couples. The last part is where it gets really crazy.

I love Portillo's! Especially the Chicago style hot dogs.

They've expanded out of Illinois. Last time I was in Arizona, I was shocked to find one in Phoenix!

    I've never been to Popeye's.

Any fight videos from Portillo's? If not, then the chicken sandwich can't be all that good.

Never had Popeyes once. The only ones I've ever seen have been inside gas stations. Looks fucking gangsta. Might have to get some this weekend to see what all the ruckus is all about.....maybe take in a scrap or two, apparently

I drove by the local Popeye's tonight, and there was the literal line out the door. Probably a good 15 people waiting outside, not counting the line inside. What the hell?

I drive a little Lyft on the side.....I picked up an employee at PopEyes earlier. Asked her what the fucking deal is.....even she had no answer. She said they sell out of those friggin samiches every day.....people call to see if they still have some constantly. She even said they literally stopped answering the phone.

I overheard a co worker of mine this morning say her boyfriend bought 8 the other day and sold one for 50 bucks! Someone met him and paid 50 friggin bucks for a chicken sammich!!

    Fucking absurd.

LOL, I noticed our local Popeye's also had a large crowd earlier tonight. I mean the chicken is pretty good, but WTF?!? o_O

There's also a Chick-fil-A about 1,000 feet from the Popeyes, and there is always a traffic line around the building at the drive-in. They're good also, but back in the 80's when they were just a small place inside the local mall they were never all that busy...and the food is the same.

I wonder if the spill over is helping other drive through places. I went to Arby's Wednesday and the parking lot was full and there was a line at the counter. There's never a line at Arby's! Maybe when they couldn't get into Popeye's they went somewhere else instead. Counter program as it was.

Either that, or a condom that fell in the chicken fryer.

I haven't had a hot dog in ages. I did love them when I was a kid. But when Jay Leno called them mystery meat and I started looking into them, I stopped. But I want to try out those veggie hot dogs.

I tried one of those Impossible Burgers and it was good. But I like Boca Burgers too. That Johnny Rocket's place stopped making the Boca Burger I think but you can make it the exact same way at home.

The Impossible Burger doesn't taste exactly like meat though I think. I haven't had meat in so long. I remember the smell of meat but the taste not so much.

This is actually the first time I've heard of fights in restaurants. Besides Chef Ramsay. But he doesn't really fight. There are a few episodes where the restaurant staff get into fights around Chef Ramsay.

Also, when I was a kid, I heard of food fights in the school cafeteria but I always missed those. And I didn't understand why people would fight with food when some people don't even have food or water.

There is of course the classic Goonies scene where they want to kill each other over the pepperoni pizza.

When I would go to Popeyes it was just for a chicken breast, biscuit, mashed potatoes, cole slaw, and cinnamon apple pie. It was pretty good if you find a location with fresh ingredients.

I had to look that up. Added to my movie list.

I remember Chick-fil-A in a mall as well. It wasn't that good to me either. And I don't remember it being busy or popular. I guess people don't cook much any more and just want simple fast food. Perhaps they marketed somewhere and it really caught on. Kind of like when Krispy Kreme donut locations were always packed.

I loved Arby's beef and cheddar. They need to come out with an Impossible roast beef substitute so I can get that again.
