I might not have been here for January's Friday the 13th. And there may not be one this month. But, for all of us who've seen enough babes, how about we even the playing field by also presenting male options? Since there are only 20 spots, I'll limit selection to the first "9" films in the series. Any "Other" votes, go ahead and place in your reply. The 20 poll options will be posted in 10 minutes or less.
went with Nick (Kevin Spirtas) from part VII - he had a rugged masculinity that i always found appealing but seriously, no love for Kevin Bacon? not even the option?
What, no Kevin Bacon or Jared Padaleki? (Forgive my spelling of the poor guys name, ever since Channel Teen moved Supernatural to Eleven I don't watch it - shitty timeslot - so wouldn't know if that was right or not anymore.) Had to chuckle when I saw this. I can honestly say I don't watch horror movies for the guys. And aside from Michael Tough (Prom Night, wrong franchise I know) I barely notice them, and even then, only because I've seen Prom Night multiple times. In fact, the more I think about it, the more I agree with the notion that horror movies and pornography aren't all that different.
Difficult toss up between Peter Barton and Russell Todd. Went with Scott due to his good-natured suaveness.
Thom Matthews had to beat out Russell Todd, mainly because of RETURN OF THE LIVING DEAD. Kevin Spiritas is way up the list too though.
I went with Kipp Marcus (Officer Randy) from "Jason Goes To Hell." I had a crush on him from "The New Leave It To Beaver" and he was the main reason I made it all the way through JGTH. More cute than hot, I suppose.
I thought he was a little too skinny (feel free to throw rocks / tomatoes at will). He beefed out bit later in the 80's. Plus, I'd already decided to give Eddie from part VII a place on the list because I thought he was adorable. Wild Things did good things for Kevin's sex appeal, Friday the 13th not so much. He almost made the list. 1 more option and he would have been there. There were only 20 slots and I decided to draw the limit at Jason Goes to Hell. Now, because someone mentioned another one of the JGtH cast members, I think I made the right decision. The remake can suck it (not that it hasn't already). As an artform, yeah I think they're remarkably different. But there's some sad nerdy thing all guys share in common about crushes on people from movies. Horror's no different. I'm working on it (shockingly, I didn't expect any requests). But luckily, I have a few now: Harry Crosby Russell Todd Tom McBride (left), John Furey (right) Bill Randolph Jeffrey Rogers John Robert Dixon Thom Mathews Scott Reeves
In all sincerity I voted for Bill Randolph, he's just got a cool vibe and swagger that reminds me of Mick Jagger.
