House of 1000 Corpses info!
As noted in Entertainment Weekly:
It's about goddamn time he was the winner. After being fucked by so many studios the man deserves a trophy. Kudos to Lion's Gate for stepping up to the plate.
Not Sure if House of 1K Corpses Will Be At My Theater
I can't seem to find any info on this playing at my two local theaters, I have a feeling, since it's a limited release, that it won't be playing. Anybody else facing the same dilema?
Creature Corner had an article up today on just that subject.
It includes a complete list of all theaters getting House of 1000 Corpses.
The closest place to me is almost 2 hours away, so I probably won't be going to see it. I've just not heard that many good things about it to be willing to drive that far just to see it. I can wait for DVD, probably.
"Rockville Center 13 Rockville MD "
Fuck yes! This is the movie theater I always hang out at, about a 5 minute walk from my house. They had the poster but then I heard it was going to be a limited release, so I gave up hope. But that's just fucking awesome. I might not be able to catch it this weekend but I'm sure as hell gonna try.
Muvico Egyptian 24 Hanover MD
Fucking great, it's playing at Muvico, thats where I planned on going! WooHoo!!!!
Shit man, I wish I had a theater that close. I have a theater at my local mall, thats about a twenty minute walk, but the theater is shitty and house of 1k isn't playing there. It's playing at Muvico, which is about a ten minute drive, their theaters are so fucking sweet.
For a limited release, there sure are a lot of cities. Anyway, it's playing right here in Springfield, where my school is, so that's about a 3 minute drive from here including traffic Kind of strange it's not playing West Springfield though (it's a MUCH bigger theater, that has real food for consessions, more theaters, and is also a Showcase).
This has nothing to do with the thread, but I'm on GameTZ, too.
Anyone know when this is going to be released in Canada?
its got some shit for canada at the very bottom of that list i think.
Night of the Zombie - Shock rocker's celluloid nightmare finally hits the big screen!
- Man of 1,000 corpses
When he successfully pitched House of 1,000 Corpses to Universal, Rob Zombie -- the director -- had only a few music videos and a hallucinogenic sequence from Beavis and Butt-Head Do America under his belt. It's testament to the hard rocker's love of film that he's interested in jumping into the fire again.

Anyone else find it stupid they refer to him as "Goth rocker"?
true i find him more of a bleak, lugubrious imagery rocker.
Goth rocker indeed. These fucking journalists! Same old story - if you don't know something - just make it up!:fire: :fuck:
thank god its playing where i live (shreveport, la). ill have to see this shit.
I wanna know this too. I have seen no TV Trailers or any info anywhere about this flick. I am gonna call my local theatre @ West Edmonton Mall and see what's happening.
Nope, according to the manager @ the local theatre, the only places in Canada that will be showing this are Toronto, Vancouver, and Ottowa. Fucking fuck fuck! Ah well, hopefully you fuckers have a great time watching this. I am just hopoing now that it has a quick theatre to dvd release.
according to that list it is playing in about 4 theatres near me.
That list is far from accurate, because it didn't show any theatres near my work, but I went to the individual theatre websites, and they list it.
