Even Ittenbach's SFX are hardly good. The puppet that he forged for the infamous "alien autopsy" video was ridiculously bad...

I haven't heard of this, shows how much I've been paying attention. I love Ittenbach's work, for the most part. Well, at least his early stuff and Beyond the Limits.

  4. OK. I love Ittenbach, but this was shit!

I'm downloading at the moment.Seems it'll be crappy quality at 400 mb but at least I get a chance to see for myself.
I've been searching Ittenbach over at Youtube but several clips are flagged "inappropriate".And I'm not a member. The rest is just too dark..

  6. So how was it?

Well,it turned out to be worse than I thought...
I downloaded me a cut version!
    DAMN!
The first part I watched looked OK but the acting and the lines were crap.
I'll have to rent it now.

I'll be back for the final verdict ;)

I picked up the German DVD but unfortunately it was the same cut version as the R1 release. I thought it was a pretty great movie for Olaf Ittenbach, and I would love to see the full uncut version so I have to track down the Dutch DVD now...

I've seen this one uncut and the gore FX is fantastic. Acting, story etc. all blah but worth seeing for the gore.

It's on Netflix streaming but I think it's the cut version. Personally I could not get through it. Germans writing and speaking olde English dialog was hilarious though.
