Definitely between 50-99 for me. It's been a very busy, stressful, and super productive year for me, and my movie watching was one of the first things to take a hit when my time started getting tied up.
130ish, I've never counted before but I would guess last year was a high after getting into the swing of Netflix watch instantly.
222 (not including films watched while listening to a commentary track) This was quite a change for me. I doubt I watched 200 films in the entire decade of the 90's. Before 2009 a typical year for me would be maybe 30, but I certainly didn't track them.
yeah, thats just cheating. if i included all the commentaries i watched (or included individual episodes of tv shows, as my wife suggested i do) my stats would be insanely inflated. gotta keep my integrity!
I've definitely been compelled to watch more movies since I started Tracking here. I hate to leave blank spots on my page!
0-9 for me.the movie industry is dying with bad movies (im freakin' tired of remakes and re-imaginings) and i wasn't in the mood of watching old favorites since here in Chile we had to endure an earthquake and a tsunami.speaking of which, Eli Roth is currently producing a movie about that event, I think it will be called Aftermath (hope it will be any good).
2010 - 217 2009 - 218 Looks like I watched 217 movies last year, one less than 2009. Damn, I thought it would have been higher, but it has been a busy year. I am starting strong this year though, already at 15 movies.
I fell to just under 75, it looks like. As I've gotten older, the # of films I get to watch has inversely followed. I still love discovering gems thanks to discussions on here, and I try--I try!--to make the time for more (main problem: sleep). Here's to more than 75 in 2011!
Last year was between 150 - 160. Life keeps getting busier, not to mention I get wrapped up in baseball for a large portion of the year.
2009: 355 2010: 440 and I think I watched a lot more TV on DVD in 2010 as well. Not exactly sure why I've had more time for movies/tv shows except that I was on the computer less and I guess my old(-ish) age is finally getting to me.
I put 10-49---it could possibly be in the 50-99 range, but I'd guess not very far into it. It's not that I'm busy, I actually have a lot of time on my hands these days [haven't worked in a while] but I just don't feel like watching movies all that much. My wife and I will sometimes watch one on the weekends, but that's about it.
I watched 125, which dipped from 147 in 2009 and 262 in 2008. Not bad, I guess, considering I moved into a new home and worked a lot of overtime last year, in addition to spending more time on video games. This year I guess I'll set the bar for 100...but I'm running out of slashers to watch and most new movies just don't interest me. Back to old foreign films, I guess!
Well I seem to be consistent, just slightly setting a new record with 220 last year! 2009 - 218 2010 - 217 2011 - 220
498! fucking 498! 2 away from 500! dammit! i had a couple of hour-long universal classic horror movies from the 40's that i was gonna check out on new years eve, but i got sidelined by house-painting and then relatives. oh well. its still a big jump from 365 last year (i made my goal that time, one movie per day).
