In the Shriek Show pack. Bought it for the Neo Giallo Bad Inclination and the enjoyable Witchery.

Lets start a thread about it, without spoiling anyting ;)
The threads I found were just too old and it's very quiet in the Euro world...
    So here goes..

After all those years, what's the verdict?

I personally don't expect much from it, so I might be surprised :D
Otherwise I'll sell it for the amount the boxset cost me ;) So, it's a win-win for me :p

it's one of the most 'commercially entertaining' movies that he has ever made, with a budget that doesn't make it seem like an amateur production and one of his few horror movies that has any decent gore!

I agree. This is one of the few Franco films that I've actually seen more than once. Many of his titles are difficult to even sit through one time.

Saw it 10+ years ago when I was in high school and it didn't leave much of an impression on me. Would revisit it again though.

I actually just re-watched this recently. I enjoyed it. Some pretty intense gore and nudity/sexual scenes :D

    Jess Franco neophyte

    Hi everyone ...
As I continue to expand my Euro-horror horizons, I have decided I'm ready to test the Jess Franco waters. What would be your suggestions for someone who's never seen one of his movies? Not necessarily his best film, but what would be a good introduction to Franco?
    Thanks!
