...I think its when Meg is taking a shower and she is humming (hmm hmm hmm hmm hmmh hmm hmmh hmmm) before her ultimate demise.
The perverted chef's totally off color comments about the kids prior to getting scalded with boiling water. Always nice to see an unsympathetic character get what's coming to him.
I would say the funniest part that i saw was the tight shorts they had the counselors wearing in this film, guys shouldn't had to wear such clothing. Acceptable on woman/goils, but disgusting on dudes!
The funniest part of the movie is when some of the campers are going to play baseball, and one of the guys give the best line in the movie: "I'll be there in 5 minutes, I've got to take a wicked dump first." Thats the best part.
I would have to go with the character of "Judy", who always provides a good laugh. She gets the best lines, the best hair, and the best death.
Hard choice, but I agree that the clothes get my vote too - those red shorts and his t-shirt were just hilarious!! sweet 80's
Spoiler The very end. I mean, what the hell is the dude looking at through the corner of his/her eye anyway? And how long was that friggin' pose anyway? It had a bit of spooikness, but all & all, it was a funny scene. The movie has its funny moments all over the place.
I haven't seen it for a while, when I view it again I might think of something else. She's flat as a board and needs a good screw! I also like this line because it helps set up the ending.
I always get a good laugh when Mel beats the shit out of Ricky. That foul-mouthed little brat had it coming. The quote "She's a real carpenter's dream. Flat as a board and in need of a screw." makes me smile too. Its so delightfully mean spirited. The cop's mustache and Ricky's cowboy hat are other good sources of comedy.
Seriously the funniest shit of all time. There's also one scene where the little kids throw sand at Ricky and Angela and he says something along the lines of "You little fuckers!" I can't remember what is was exactly but it cracked me up.
Robert Hiltzik's belief that he was making a decent film and that nobody would recognize the fact that he had plagiarized the plot and the "twist" from no less than three other films - that must have been relatively funny.
