The Kult Video edition at 30? is too much for me... have some things first.
Yeah, Camera Obscura's DVDs are expensive. That's not so bad if it's previously unreleased titles like "So Sweet, So Dead", but for a title which is pretty much available everywhere in the world it might be a bit too much.
Still, many collectors will want it for the extras.
What will i do? I don't know yet. Depends on how they look ie. quality of the print, mastering etc.. But judging by the extras, I need both the Arrow and CO release
Arrow will do for me.
Only if the making of damn good.
The Arrow release will find its way to my collection eventually. I'll put it on my "list". If only for the "Black Cat" footage!! At last we can witness Mater Lachrimarum in her full glory! Just as Argento.... errr... Cozzi intended
Arrow Blu ray review:
This looks really good to my eyes, though it's only two screens. I don't see any "added grain".
I'm getting this (on DVD) fershure!:glasses::banana:
Some more screenshots.
Thanks Michael, this really looks good!
this looks like another def buy
So where can I order the region free blu-ray?
As far as I'm aware the Arrow release is region free.
My question was "where can I buy it"? I'm in the US by the way.
Amazon.co.uk. I live in Aus and I buy from there. Their shipping is super quick too.
Amazon.uk seriously dude I don't want to lose a nipple. They're prices and shipping converted in USD is like $345,943,392. No way I'm buying from them can't afford it. I'll just wait till some US distributor gets it in stock.
Really? I find them cheaper with shipping than the American site and my items arrive quicker.
Amazon UK is generally pretty cheap for people in the US. Right before you check out all the prices get lower because VAT drops off and the shipping is a lot cheaper than shipping from most places in Europe.
This looks like a great buy and its region free to boot.
The conversion rate between the pound and the dollar is rather favorable at the moment, compared to what it has been in the past, and Amazon.co.uk will guarantee their price in dollars once you check out. They have been steeply discounting many of their Blu-Rays and you get an extra discount if you're an overseas customer because you don't have to pay the VAT. Still though, shipping is expensive if you're ordering one title. Buy a couple titles at a time. Just this morning I ordered three Blu-Rays from the UK site and got a pretty good deal.
i'm really pissed that i recently bought the Dutch DVD of this (with the movie stopping half way thru), so i'm afraid i won't be getting this
but i have pre-ordered this one!
i found the city of the living dead arrow blu ray on ebay for $20 + $5 shipping. not bad at all. just wait for it, it'll show quick enough.
It?s been subtited again to BBFC but I believe it will not pass uncut.
