Thoughts on how this looks? I was a fan of the other Insidious movies (the first was the best IMO), so I'm willing to give this a shot.

It looks good! I love the franchise. The trailer for Chapter 3 was amazing but also spoiler heavy so may be they're savi g some good stuff for the feature this time. Shame the Bride in Black is no where to be seen this time though.

Agreed. She is/was one of the creepiest facets of the films for me.

Wouldn't surprise me, if there will be a cameo somewhere :)

Tom Fitzpatrick hasn't filmed anything, and there is no sign of a credit pertaining to the character anywhere so I very much doubt they've recast.

Seeing as this entry doesn't include the Chapter monker, and it seems to focus on Elise's childhood and return to her family home I'm guessing we're taking a slight swerve from the regular formula. Hopefully the Bride will be back in the next entry.

I'll be at a convention next week where he will be attending. I'll try to ask him.

I saw that. :) I'll definitely take pictures if I'm permitted. I was at a convention in NJ a few weeks ago, and taking photos of certain celebrities was prohibited.

I'm going to the CT convention to meet Adrienne Barbeau. I've never had the pleasure. Tom Atkins and Jordan Ladd are also going to attend so depending on what they charge, I'll try to meet them as well.

The convention I really want to attend is in MD at the end of the month. Unfortunately it's far, and I would end up spending a fortune. Many main cast members of Saw and Hellraiser will be there.

Ah yes. Monster Mania's a biggie. Adrienne Barbeau will be great I'm sure.

Love Insidious and think the trailer for this new one looks good. I've found them all quite solid so far. I was actually surprised to read people on Bloody Disgusting saying only the first one was good and the others stink.

Everyone hates everything nowadays. I personally think the second Insidious is the best but it seems to be the most maligned, go figure. They're all good movies imo, and for the money pretty faultless.

I agree, I think the second one would have to be my favorite. At least the reveal of the bride was a great addition to the mythos. I do really enjoy the ambiguous mystery of her in the first one too though.

I agree...didn't the second one receive good reviews only to be shit on later?...I also have to say that the second one is my favorite...it ties into the first one beautifully...I thought the third one was the weakest...

I think because the timeline for part 3 was moved around, and Wan stepped down from directing it has a slightly different feel to it. I still thought it was a good entry.

She's (he's) a great character. I'd love to see a spin off covering her murderous past similar to what they've been doing with the Conjuring spin offs.

When is the CT convention? And can I persuade you to get my Creepshow bluray signed by Adrienne Barbeau if I send you the cover and the $ to cover her fee? ;) Half joking, half not.

I met Adrienne and Jordan Ladd. Both were exceptionally friendly. They made my day. I contemplated getting my Night of the Creeps blu-ray signed by Tom Atkins, but $30 was too much for me. Tom Fitzpatrick wasn't there by the time I was ready to leave, and a long line had already formed at his table.
