Damn. Well the showing is no good to me as I'm in Australia. Hopefully it hits online soon. I enjoy part 2 (which others seem to hate) so hopefully I'll get some enjoyment out of this new one.

Dude.......unless you're independently wealthy lol don't waste your money on this disc. I think part 2 sucked and it was a million times better than 3. Wait to catch it on netflix or something after 6-7 beers and maybe MAYBE you'll enjoy a few......no wait, you won't. Movie fucking blows. I don't say that often, man....its really really bad.

Haha, don't worry, I plan on downloading it first ;) I very rarely blind buy these days and especially avoid putting money down when a film gets bad reviews like this one sadly is. I still want to check it out as it's a Creeper film but my expectations are virtually nonexistent.

"A Creeper film", thats a more succinct way of saying a Victor Salva film I guess lol.

......and that's where the fuck it belongs. Had no business playing theatrically. God damn embarrassment is what it was.

It's such a shame too. I really liked this franchise. This is the crap we get after all this time? How come horror franchises like Phantasm and Jeepers can't get a half way decent budget for a sequel anyway? There's a built in fan base for both (especially Phantasm) guaranteed to make at least a small profit off of a modest budget. Instead, we get practically no-budget low end franchise entries decades after they should have come out. Wtf?

....I guess you could kinda add Leatherface in there too. That was delayed and dumped DTV. Plus I hear it kinda sucks too.

The film industry is broken. Outside of $100 million+ blockbusters and Oscar-bait, financing options for feature films seem to be extremely limited.

Victor Salva's continued involvement in the Jeepers Creepers franchise probably doesn't help matters, either.

    That's fast.

There are a lot of movies that I'm still surprised are even made. Jeepers Creepers 3 seems like it's another one of those. But Salva does have the support many out there would want.

  14. Watched the SyFy premiere. It was a mixed bag for me.

The script felt rushed/unfinished with the ending being extremely abrupt. I guess Salva didn't have the budget he wanted for it because it feels like a set up to another film.

And yeah the CGI was meh but it didn't bother me that much.

The Creeper was badass tho and I liked most of the set pieces.

I'll watch it again when the DVD hits.

I just read a post on the Horror.com forum that said the Syfy version had cut scenes.

I watched it tonight, I did not think it was as bad as some people here have said, I thought it was nicely shot, looked more professional than the budget should allow and your average syfi movie, CGI use was kept to a minimum and didn't look that bad to me (as apposite to the over used and awful phantasm ravager), the creep was great, I liked the traps in the van, story could have been better. But overall I enjoyed it.

What made me laugh I watched the US syfi edition, so it's a horror film I suspect on late at night, there are deaths/blood but the uses of fuck were muted! What the hell, is that usual for US TV?

Outside of premium cable channels like HBO, Showtime, Cinemax, etc., the use of "fuck" is practically nonexistent on American television, even on programming that has been rated TV-MA.

Although that is starting to change. FX in particular has been regularly using the word "fuck" in their original programming.

I also saw this the other night and thought it was absolutely awful. It may as well have been called The Jeepers Creepers Van as the story seems way to busy showing all these ridiculous traps the van is capable of, most in horrible looking cgi.
I thought the story was boring and the character's uninteresting. Even the Creeper seemed lame here.
Honestly disappointed. I can't believe this is from the same guy that made the first two. It definitely feels made for tv.

I always find this hilarious. Naughty words and nudity, is apparently way more horrible than gore, violence and mayhem :D
