Apparently the discs sell VERY well, but for TV's it seems most who want it have it. And since it costs more to make so many TV's 3D I can see why it's being phased out.

But from my understanding home projection is still selling 3D without any slow down. If you're commited enough to buy a projector, you'll probably want 3D. And you're going to want content. And you're willing to pay for it.

So 3D projectors are still going to be available? That's really good news. I was concerned about what would happen if my tv broke. i don't want all my 3D BD's to become coasters. I suppose that means that players and glasses will have to be available in at least a limited capacity too, then? i initially bought two pairs of panasonic glasses when we got the tv. i recently tried to find some more, and had to go on kijiji to track down two pairs of sony glasses (at a pretty good price, which was a silver lining). so now i've got four pairs, plus two players capable of running 3D. but only the one tv. i'm really making a point of buying 3D releases when they come out. vote with your wallet...

Damn I didn't know this was coming out. I'd actually forgotten the name of this film but remember stubling across it and rather enjoying it. May just have to pick this up.

Star Crystal is one of the most ridiculous movies I have ever seen, and it seriously challenges Troll 2 on the "Best Worst Movie" title. Absolute must have on blu ray!

A lot of people hate Star Crystal, but I've kinda always liked it...literally so bad it's good. Plus it has Emily Longstreth in it! o_O I should have the Blu-ray arriving from Bullmoose on Monday.

Odd cast credits in the film though. Only about 5 of the actors are even credited with "roles" anywhere in the opening/end credits.

I guess I should open an account at Kino. Always wanted to but now I have an excuse. Unless, of course, they're only knocking off a buck or two from the MSRP. I'd almost rather pay $19.99 for Star Crystal just to get Prime shipping.

For a second, I confused that with the excellent TV movie Night Terror with Valerie Harper.

Don't think I've ever seen Nightkill, but it looks right up my alley. I'm in.

This is a great sale! Definitely going to participate. Just need to narrow it down to an acceptable total.
