They've been releasing some awesome stuff lately and have put out some great titles, many of which I want to eventually pick up. The Wanderers and Lifeboat look like good titles to add to my collection.

I know there are issues with their release of The Good, the Bad and the Ugly, including some fucked up black levels in particular. But, I'm starting to notice it with other Kino titles as well. Many just seem overly bright, and never reach a deep black, Thieves Like Us in particular. It's also painfully obvious watching scope films, you can really see how bright these transfers are against the black bars.

Here are the specs for Rawhead rex direct from Kino Korber, It appears to be the unrated edition, fingers crossed:

    RawHead Rex (1986)
    A Brand New 4K Restoration!
Blu-ray and DVD Street Date: October 17, 2017
    Director: George Pavlou
Starring: David Dukes, Kelly Piper, Niall Toibin, Ronan Wilmot, Niall O’Brien, Donal McCann, Hugh O’Conor, Cora Venus Lunny
    Horror / 89 min / NR / Color

    Synopsis:
He’s pure evil… pure power… pure terror! RawHead Rex is a demon, alive for millennia, trapped in the depths of hell, and waiting for release. He is held by an ancient seal, imprisoned for centuries in a barren field near the hamlet of Rathmore, Ireland. In time, this gruesome legacy has been forgotten, dismissed as an odd pre-Christian myth until Tom Garron (Donal McCann, December Bride) decides to plow the field his ancestors knew better than to disturb. The seal is broken and an unspeakable evil is unleashed – on a rampage of blood and lust. Howard Hallenbeck (David Dukes, Gods and Monsters), an American historian on a working vacation with his family, discovers on the stained glass windows of a local church a series of scenes illustrating the reign of terror of RawHead Rex, but the one piece of glass depicting the defeat of the monster is missing. RawHead Rex is on the loose, and he is insatiable as Howard is desperately races against time for a way to stop the vicious monster. Directed by George Pavlou (Transmutations) with a screenplay by horror legend Clive Barker (Hellraiser, Candyman, Nightbreed, Lord of Illusions).

DD has Rawhead Rex for the cheapest I've seen so far. Using the 15% AUTUMN discount code.

That's a great sale, but I've been spending so much lately (and watching so little!) that I just can't justify it. I just need to keep telling myself that there will be other sales. I can wait. I can wait. I can wait. I can wait....

I took advantage of the sale. I usually don't. But I ordered 6 titles for $53 shipped. That's a really good deal.

Same here, I picked up 6 titles for about $59 shipped and may go back for more before the sales over :D depending on how good the Shout Factory sale is when it starts tomorrow.
