^Awesome! By far my favorite Blaxploitation film.
Pimp funeral in HD!
I'm curious about that one. I bought the German Blu-ray (EuroVideo) but wasn't exactly blown away by the transfer. Definitely in need of remastering.
yeah Truck Turner is terrific. I love the score to that one, too.
My review of The Emerald Forest blu-ray
Never seen TRUCK TURNER but that sure is an awesome-sounding title for a movie . Not into Blaxploitation, though, so I might pick up a copy if I become convinced that the film works as an above-average action flick and is not just another by-the-numbers borefest. With Isaac Hayes in this I guess you can't go wrong
Regarding Madhouse, isn't there another film with the same title and also made in 1974?
Madhouse! Nice. Now if they can just release Theater of Blood and Twice Told Tales...
Zone Troopers!?! Sweet. After I swore off MOD I was still tempted to pick this up as I figured it'd never get a larger release.
This clinches it; I'm never buying MOD or its ilk again (not that I have for several years now).
But me down for all the Vincent Price and Roger Cormans too.
I'd say it does. The movie is just plain awesome.
Hell yeah can't wait for this shiiiat jive turkey mutha fuckas!

Whoa, Miracle Mile? I haven't seen that film in years... but I remember it being quite good.
Kino's really churning them out right after the other in the announcements!
I hope they don't use that art. There's an awesome poster for this flick, which is probably the theatrical art, but, yeah, this is a mind-blowing announcement. I kept asking Arrow and Shout if they would consider licensing it but they always came back with "there's no HD master available". Well, make one . Kino gets major points, Shout is slowing slinking into the mainstream and Arrow is too busy turning their noses up at real cult titles. Oh, well.
