Phone - Similar to Ring but good in it's own right.

BAD GUY - might not be horror but involvs pimps and hoes.

Horror Game movie - never seen but people say it's good. What's up with the title?

The Isle - best one i've seen. Some pretty fucked up parts, but in all it's a well directed movie.

Three - Big fan of anthologies, this one was somewhat enjoyable. Check out Bangkok Haunted if you like this one.

I really enjoyed "Tell Me Something" - I can't look at black garbage bags the same way again....

Not horror, but the best Korean movie I have seen is Shiri. 2nd is Tell Me Something which is horror.

301, 302 is really good, highly recommended.

The Whispering Corridors movies are suppose to be good too, haven't seen them myself though.

Damn Deaddevilman, you took my 2 picks. Shiri, is a great flick, and you can find it at Best Buy for $16.99! Tell Me Something, is a slow but enjoyable thriller. The shot in the elevator with the blood flowing down the metal floor is AMAZING!

Isn't Volcano High School Korean? While I didn't like the hero geats beat down 10 times before winning, the "natural" CGI/FX was pretty cool IMHO.

A Tale of Two Sisters is really creepy and it was one of the best films that I saw this year. There's a 2 disc DVD of this out (R3, NTSC) that I would get if I had a region free player. :(

  10. Is this available yet anywhere online?

I haven't seen any Korean horror yet, but have see the Korean comedy "The Foul King". Looks like I'm going to have to go rent some now.

I liked that one about the family running the mountain hotel where everyone got killed. The Quiet Family I think the English name for it was. Fucking classic black comedy/horror.

That's the movie that The Happiness of the Katakuri's is based on. I'm going to put that on my must have list. Where did you get it?

The only part of Three that was Korean was "Memories" and was the best of the trilogy. I also enjoyed Nightmare from Korea although many people have hated it. The best part of Phone was the last bit.

I'm going to try and pick this one up tomorrow.

The US bought remake rights on this movie due to its success here.

Saw it on Sundance a couple of months ago and felt that it was a great Argento clone.
