    Mission provided a link in another thread that has a pretty good discussion on how much the studio makes on each ticket sold. http://godzilla3d.com/en/distribution.html
    It is somewhat different, but I would imagine that it is close.

    Basically, the studio gets 30% of box office.

    Is there a site similar to boxofficemojo where you can learn how much it made on DVD? I've been meaning to ask that for a while.

    I've looked for that info on specific titles before. It would seem it isn't publicly available, unless the studio releases it (for example when they sell a huge amount of copies, they will issue a press release about it)

    Other than that, nope.
