Wow. I went back and saw that I preordered Pulp Fiction (six years ago!) for $17. While I don't care for Adam Sandler, 90 minutes featuring the goddess Bridgette Wilson is well worth $4. I overpaid day one for Django for a store exclusive (Best Buy I think). My wife and I saw The Crazies remake in the theater. I wasn't enamoured with it but for $4, I may have to revisit it.
You know, I hadn't seen the Crazies since the theater......and I saw a trailer for it at the beginning of a dvd I watched a week or two ago. Said to myself I need to revisit that one soon so when I saw it for 4 bucks it was a no brainer. Movie is pretty fucking cool, man. It does not fuck around, starts right up and never really slows down. Looked phenomenal in HD too.
Ok. It's just not often I go into Target to pick up kitty litter and ass wipes, glance at section of the blu rays listed at 4 bucks and pick out 4 flicks in 8 seconds. But I guess your description of my half drunken-post golf Target visit is more accurate.......... well done.
Debatable. But 8 beers and several bowls from 11am to 3:30, even for this 200 pounder is less than sober. But I fail to see your point in commenting on that? I also failed to mention I bought the wife the blu ray for Snow White for like 28 bucks. No occasion. Call that sober? I think NOT LOL
You and your reputation, your endless bragging about drinking. All a front. You collect stamps with butterflies on them. You had a pocket protector in junior high. Now you wear a monocle, a smoking jacket, and stroll through the park quoting Shakespeare to people with shopping bags because you resent gluttonous, whorish commerce. I'm not even convinced you legitimately purchased Adam Sandler because you believe the guy wouldn't know a good soliloquy if it knocked a golf ball up the cuff of his slacks. You are a mystery, wrapped in an enigma, theme song by Enya- a flower in a junkyard, afraid to tell people you're tired of junk.
LOL you're something else, man. Endless bragging about drinking? Really? I'm 32 years old, man. The fuck am I bragging about? I'm a beer drinker. Have been for years. Will continue to be in the future. But at least once and a while I'll mention something personal, always casual and light hearted, which is more than we can say about you. I'm very honest with all of my posts, got no reason otherwise, son. I am who I am. Extremely laid back cat, massive pot head, beer drinking golf-baseball-horror junkie. Got a problem with it? Suck my middle nut and mind your business. P.S. I'm a massive Adam Sandler fan. Ask me what I think is the funniest movie of all time, in my opinion. The movie that makes me laugh out loud more than any other flick ever has. Go head. I'll save you the effort. It's THAT'S MY BOY. Donny Berger is my all time favorite character from a comedy. Suck it.
My wife's best friend was in town and walked a block over from our place to grab us coffee and ran in to Sandler and his kid (he lives in my neighborhood). I've never seen someone so star struck. She loves him. On a side note I didn't know you had a "reputation".
Thank you! That's awesome!!! I'd love to meet Sandler. He was filming That's My Boy around the town I was living in Massachusetts before I came down south......word spread he was in town and was hoping by small chance I'd bump into him at a bar or something. No such luck. But literally on my street, about half a mile down the road there's a used car dealership that they transformed into a hot tub dealership for like a week. It was cool to drive by every morning for work (around 4am) and see the crew set up. Unfortunately the scene didn't make the film but it's in the deleted scenes of the dvd.
ANYWAYS........ Another blind buy that I don't think can miss. Anything you'd like to add DVDFan? Am I rubbing you the wrong way somehow with this purchase of mine? What cha think, bud? Living up to my Rep' ??
