Traded in a bunch of old vinyl, and scored this for 2 bucks. Haven't revisted in years, looking forward to seeing in HD.

Only a couple of weeks away from October. Definitely about that time I put in my annual Sept splurge, line up some new flicks to watch as well as some classics. I always enjoy blind buying around this time. This won't be in for me for the season, but it's a solid start:

DVD, saved 8 bucks compared to the blu ray.

so overdue, it's not even funny

Real cheap, haven't seen since the theaters. Looking forward to revisiting

I almost want to wait until a better edition of this comes out, but fuck it. Gonna be a massive upgrade from my vhs

DVD, only 10 bucks. Solid Halloween flick

Another blind buy that's been on my list for years. Finally pulled the trigger

Really looking forward to this anthology. Looks awesome. Another blindy

Classic 80s slasher that isnt a part of my collection......till now.

My first Arrow purchase. REALLY excited to see in HD

I also got Cult of Chucky and the Barn on preorder which should arrive first week in Oct.
Waiting on the Belko Experiment and Get Out to drop in price and hopefully buy around mid October. They're still 20-25 bucks but they're available at Target, WalMart, etc.....you know those titles always drop in price

Found these all used in a bookstore last night:

Nightmares in a Damaged Brain (88 Films)
    X-Ray (88 Films)
Just Before Dawn (Shriek Show DVD)

I was really surprised to find all of these (I actually grabbed them immediately lol), and I already have the 88 Films release of Just Before Dawn but have wanted the DVD for years because I wanted to hear the director's commentary and feature-length doc on the making of the film. Nobody carried it over to any of the HD releases. I hardly ever buy multiple copies of films just for special features, but it was only $9.99 so hopefully it was worth it. It's also probably in my top 5 favourite slasher movies ever.

I remember when this came out and everyone talked about how much a step up it was from the VHS tape that had been OOP for years. Comparing it to the 88 release, the jump in quality is equally as drastic here. The opening credits are partially cut off in places on the DVD!

Man, we're really spoiled with the work companies do now. Collectors have become so entitled at times, it's nice to know people really are putting a lot of work into these things, even if they can't satisfy everyone.
