I think I'm the only one not going gaga over a bunch of compressed films that are only available in trash bins at Hickmart, most of which have already been released, some with extras and in widescreen! When this hits Amazon I'll grab a copy but I'm not commuting to the back country to look for this stuff.

I haven't been able to locate a copy, but I was wanting Chud 2 and The Unholy, but no way no how I'm going to pay $40.00 or more for a copy. I will wait. They will hopefully release them in the future on seperate discs, maybe Blu-Ray. When I did look, both my husband and brother were throwing a little fit that I was looking for this.

It's the unrated version. (The werewolf ripping the guy in half, the vampire scenes, the mummy head stomp, etc.)

Waxwork's rated cut is only missing 10 seconds from the vampire sequence. Just found out at movie censorship.

I assumed it was much more than that.

I know it's been discussed ad nauseum, but the vampire and werewolf scenes still feel cut to me from the double-feature version iN Waxwork. It's probably nostalgia confusing me, but something about those scenes feels missing.

Me too! Chris is right. I just popped in my Dragon DVD and the vampire stuff with the blood spraying, head popping, and an extra shot of a dead vampire chick impaled on wine bottles were present. So, did the double feature have the shots from movie censorship?

I believe they were only comparing the original VHS releases of both cuts.

On this set, it's the rated version. I've seen both, I own both, it's the rated print on this set.

So it's the unrated cut on the double feature?

I ordered the double feature solely for Waxwork II and I'm curious.

The double feature DVD with Waxwork / Waxwork II contains the Unrated version of Waxwork (despite having an R-rating on the back of the case).

I haven't seen this new 8-movie set, so I can't speak for that one.

    Thanks.

Reviews on Amazon weren't helpful. Some reviews said it was Unrated, some not.

the reason it can feel choppy is because the unrated print is not the uncut print, this has never been released and i suspect never will

Anyone else stupid enought to send horrorphilly money for these DVD sets? I send him money they day after his offer and he is now refuses to send the DVD as agreed upon. Should have know it was too good to be true. If anyone else was considering it beware.

In other news, anyone find these in the Chicago area. I've been all over from Niles to Elk Grove with no luck. I've probably been to eight stores at this point. Any advice would be appreciated.

I was there earlier and found about four different kinds of these 8-packs in the bin, but none of the Blood Diner or C.H.U.D. II sets anywhere.

I thought about buying the Bloody Murder set, but only two movies in the set are watchable and I already have 'em.
