Mario Bava Retrospective in Chicago

    Gene Siskel is running a two week retrospective of Mario Bava's horror/thrillers in August. They are promoting new restorations of Kill Baby Kill and Blood and Black Lace. Overall this looks like a pretty sweet program and they are doing double features on Saturdays.

    Wish I could go. Funny that this is playing at a venue named for the late Gene Siskel,I don't recall him being much of a "horror guy".

    Awesome, but terrible show times. And they matched up The Girl Who Knew Too Much with the film I'd least want to see of the bunch (Bay of Blood). :(

    I can't get downtown at these dates and times, and they probably have these times because nobody can that's why the screens are available. ;)
