Getting back to the discussion with intelligent people (excluding Zep) I'm glad they did a documentary on fulci.

I've always wanted one, and this could be really good. Plus, I've always wanted to know what Argento thought about his rivial.

No, that would be me. ;) Zep doesn't deserve to be on the top list of fabulous fags.

I was sold when I heard "cheesy 80's synth". I'm not a rabid Fulci fan, but I do love some of the man's work and honestly the cover on this release alone almost makes it a mandatory purchase. Besides, it never hurts to have more Fulci in your collection.

hmmm--i have a barebones dvr conversion of this from some other region or format (it was the only access to the film at the time) and I find it to be enjoyable---a fun latwer giallo...
but the extras on this ar elooking attractive....

I got the following Private message from Zep with the following in:

This guy is so dumb and out if it, there's no point replying to him. Just laugh at his stupid ways.

Oh zep, I'm laughing at you, not with you.

Last night I had a chance to check out Media Blasters Murder Rock DVD. The film looks amazing and the extras are great.

Haven't seen it yet,I expect a mediocre but fun and sexy Giallo. With "great" music by mister Emerson to boot!

According to Jason's review it's a great film.
It's the German release in the review,by CCI,by the way. It's pretty expensive ($34.95).Especially if compared with Shriek Show's release (which sells at about $13)

although I have not watched it very recently, I remember the gore quotient being rather low...

I still did enjoy its quirk giallo charms...

Given the nature of the kills (mostly by pin prick) the most gore you will see will be a drop of blood coming out from a woman's breast. It has enough disco and nudity to balance out this shortcoming.

Thanks for the review you posted, rhett. I was unsure of whether or not I would enjoy this one, but now I'll definitely give it a try. Looks great!
