No gore. Just a passable giallo and one of Media Blasters better video presentations. The video is actually encoded in progressive scan.

Yeah..the gore (if i can even use that term here) is really a non-factor.A bit overhyped imo..not a bad giallo but certainly not near the top of even the Fulci list.

What's the cheapest price you guys have found for this? I don't want to pay all that much for it and I can't seem to find it on DDD's site.

I've had a brief and rather poorly written review here for a while..

The bottom line on this one is that there is essentally no gore, but it's a fun film. Fulci is slumming it, and technically it barely gets above a TV movie.

I've been dying to see this ever since Rhett's review a few months back, and it was just what I expected - even better! The dance scenes are utterly fabulous. Compared to another early 80s cheesy dance favorite of mine, Xanadu, Murder Rock easily wins out with its cool coreography. And even though Xanadu has the better score, it's hard not to fall in love with "Streets to Blame". Where is Doreen Chanter these days, I wonder?

Actually, the film itself wasn't nearly as much rubbish as I'd imagined it would be. It's a pretty solid thriller and reminded me quite a bit of The Eyes of Laura Mars. I guess it must have been the au natural cinematography or something. I just kept thinking of Laura Mars all the time. Maybe it's because I just finished watching the second season of Veronica Mars? The mind works in mysterious ways ...

Overall, the music, dancing, cinematography and brisk pace (not to mention the oh-so-Italian conclusion) make this a new cheesy favorite of mine. I'd love to have the poster on my wall! :D

It's easily one of my favorite Fulci films.
One thing i found a bit annoying though.Everytime they start counting with the music they start on the wrong beat, third or something.Being a musician this annoyed the hell out of me.

But the rest is a minor Fulci classic and made me want to check out his lesser known stuff.

Check the bargain section at FYE. They had the two-disc special edition for $2.97. I grabbed one.

Isn't that DVD cover a rip-off of one of those Dimension Extreme titles?

The DVD was released in 2006, and Dimension Extreme was announced in 2007, so if there was a rip-off it was from Dimension.
