Shannafey, where do you live in Fl. I moved to Ft. Myers last month and I do have fearnet. It is under free movies and there should be a fearnet heading. My father lives in Naples and he also has fearnet.

I'm on the other coast (West Palm area directly across from you! I moved here from Mass. as well, but a long time ago!) and I've heard people tell me they had Fearnet on their Comcast, but I just got the On Demand and it is not under free movies!

You can try a call to Comcast but, good luck. Anytime I have had a problem I get some bullshit answer like "We know about the problem and someone is in your area trying to fix it." The problems never seem to get fixed.

I watched it last night and have to say I really enjoyed it! It follows the basic premise of the short story well, from what I remember (it's been a long time since I read it!!). Some good gory scenes and a fun watch! Glad I got to see it in HD!!

Calling Comcast is next to impossible nowadays. If your internet isn't out go to live chat on comcast.net, at least you can communicate and report your problems there. All the appointments I've ever set through that have showed up too, so it does work to some extent. Much better and quicker than the phone. I have to plug my cell phone in if the internet is out. Or calling at 4-6am usually cuts the wait down from well over an hour to 15-30 minutes.

My favorite thing about Comcast -
At least one year running now, every call, same message:
"we are experiencing larger than normal call volume, and longer than normal wait times. We suggest you log on to comcast.net....."
I have mentioned that everytime I call, since it's obvilously a default answering message. Even more annoying in that I know this shit and wouldn't think of calling if I didn't have to!:fuck: Thankfully I haven't had to call as much lately, except to pay them and I have the direct automated line for that.:)

Comcast Sucks! Unfortunately I am stuck with it as my homeowners has a contract for basic cable. I recently upgraded to full HD service with the DVR as well as high speed and I've been happy with the service, but not their customer service!

got to see the film recently and have to say i fucking loved it, one of my favourite horror films of the year, i live in the uk and the movie has recently been given an uncut 18 cinema certificate, so it does seem to be getting a cinema release here, not sure when but i hope it gets treated better here than it did in the us.

Watched it last night and thought it was very good. The movie builds and builds to a pretty good pay off. It becomes a pretty good suspense/thriller with good kills.

Really surprised at how well this turned out. I loved the art/obsession theme, as well as the cameos by Brooke Shields and Ted Raimi.

    Can anyone explain the
fungus growing on the butcher's chest
? So weird. Yes, the CGI was a bummer, but the performances and direction were spot-on.

I didn't really get that either unless it was
the genetic link between him and the creatures.

I guess I must be getting more boring as I get older, because I thought this was lame at best.

If CG-gore, some pointlessly "flashy" cinematography and absolutely abysmal performances get you going, then I guess this film will do. Maybe. Not boring, but not good by any stretch of the imagination.
