What's the quality like on Another Stakeout? I heard it only has 2.0 HD audio where as the DVD had 5.1. Not necessarily worse I guess. I wonder what audio it had in theaters?

Those particular $3.99 titles are tempting, but they'd be impulse purchases at best. That said, I do hope there are more catalog blus from them to come at this price point. I'd definitely be in for Adventures in Babysitting and Ruthless People and may pick up that Ernest double feature eventually.

If these are indeed to follow, I'll gladly pick up Money for Nothing.. always thought this was a pretty solid 'under the radar' Cusack performance.

I haven't opened it yet, but the box says English 2.0 Dolby Digital. Although someone on the blu-ray.com forums has stated that it is actually DTS-HD 2.0.

I was in there again and picked up the other two, Big Business and Gross Anatomy. They are $3.99 until Saturday.

Target only had these four of the eleven Mill Creek / Touchstone blu-rays, however they had all of them on DVD for $2 each. This also included several that haven't made it to blu-ray yet, such as Camp Nowhere, Aspen Extreme, Heartbreak Hotel, Indian Summer, and Ernest Scared Stupid.

I'm wondering if Mill Creek actually got the rights to all of the Touchstone library, or just a large bundle of titles. Maybe Touchstone hung on to some of their more popular releases.

It's only available exclusively at Walmart stores and their website, at least until 7/23. Amazon is about the only other retailer that even lists it online at this point.

Walmart has about 12-15 of these for $5.00 each in stores right now.

Ernest Scared Stupid looks pretty good in HD. I never watched the old DVD (Pan & Scan I think?) though, so I have no idea how it compares. The disc does take up a little over 20 gigs , and I didn't notice any compression artifacting.

There is only one audio choice on the disc, lossy Dolby 2.0. No big deal, but the previous Ernest double feature BD did offer lossless PCM, DTS-HD Master Audio in addition to Dolby.

Anyone get the single movie releases of Ernest Goes to Jail and Ernest Goes to camp? Curious since they each get their own disc if the look any better then they do on the 2 movie on 1 disc pack? Also, any chance their are any extras on these releases?

I went into Wal-Mart looking for the Ernest Scared Stupid blu-ray (plus Ties That Bind and a few others), but my local one doesn't carry it. :(

Though I did find two more Full Moon DVD triple features with Puppet Master 4 - 6 and Demonic Toys, Dollman, Dollman Vs Demonic Toys for $5 each. So my trip wasn't a total bust.

There were no extras at all on the Ernest Scared Stupid Blu-ray. Not even Scene Selections, just a screen with "Play Movie" on it. The previous Ernest double feature did have Scene Selections for each film.

I didn't figure there would be any bonus features to be honest.

As far as the single releases of Ernest Goes to Jail & Ernest Goes to Camp go, I haven't a clue. I'd wait to hear how they compare though, as they may not even port over the lossless audio tracks...which also really wouldn't surprise me.

If Mill Creek is releasing Disney/Touchstone titles, there's a chance for movies like CAN'T BUY ME LOVE coming out on BD. Maybe even Journey of Natty Gann and other 80's favorites.

Not to mention OPEN RANGE (not a horror film but one of my favorite westerns).

Awesome! Will definitely be getting My Science Project on Blu. That one brings back some childhood memories.

I can't remember if I saw that or Manhattan Project as a kid and I don't remember anything about it. Always got them confused.
