Not just all that but the regular edition won't be out until after the LE, so the wait time to get the movie is limited with the LE as well. That's the main reason I buy these. On a semi-related note I was looking at MM's postings on blu-ray.com to confirm that the regular editions still came after the LE and found this awesome quote: lol
I think this movie is really exceptional. We've seen the concept before but there is real tension and a show-stopper moment that happens with one of the main characters that had me cringing with admiration for it's darkness.
He also had this to say about shipping LE in the order that they were placed: http://forum.blu-ray.com/showpost.php?p=14936984&postcount=4563 Although I seem to recall him saying he only sets 666 aside for the very first order, then doesn't pay much attention to the LE's number verses when an order was placed. So I think that's mostly snark. But Kat, you've got a good shot at getting 666 then! I was like a half hour after you.
LOL, I can wish...but I doubt it. I do always try to order right away when they go up for pre-order. The lowest number I got was # 005, and I think the last one I got # 059. There's always somebody faster it seems.
Last chance: http://forum.blu-ray.com/showpost.php?p=14955009&postcount=4667 Looks like that one will do very well for MM. I wonder how the Naschy titles are doing in general for MM. Naschy reportedly under performed on DVD. But sold out quickly for MM; although at only 666 count.

New announcement today on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/mondomacab...602050399505/2063592423733801/?type=3&theater SURPRISE BLU-RAY ANNOUNCEMENT! Mondo Macabro are very pleased to announce that we have just acquired the US physical media rights to the 1976 Swiss film BLOODLUST (Mosquito der schänder). Thanks to Film Media, Michael Raso and Paige Davis for making this possible. For those unfamiliar with the title, BLOODLUST is one of the darkest and most affecting horror movies to come out of 1970s Europe. The film plays like a kind of grown up fairy tale, albeit one that includes bloodsucking, eyeball evisceration and voyeuristic lesbian sex scenes among a host of other activities. The bloodsucker of the film’s title is played by veteran actor Werner Pochath. Although he made a number of horror films, including two with Dario Argento, this was one of his rare leads and it’s a career topping best, especially remarkable in that the character he plays is a deaf mute who has not a single world of dialog. This will be the world Blu-ray premier of this remarkable - and remarkably strange - film. Watch this space for more details.
I saw Bloodlust on bootleg sometime ago. I don't recall it being all that exciting but I'm looking forward to the blu.
Looks like they revealed the cover art for the standard edition of Who Can Kill a Child? on Facebook back on Friday: As much as I like the 2 covers on the LE I kind of like this one better.
I got the limited red case of Who Can Kill a Child? in the mail earlier. Great looking package... the artwork looks amazingly good on both sides. # 0024/1000
I watched Who Can Kill a Child? last night, and the new 4K transfer looks amazingly good. Rich colors and solid visible detail, and no signs of any DNR (or very minor if some is there) or digital manipulation. ...and for those who own the older Dark Sky DVD, the two Interviews from that are ported over.
