I hope I make the next batch of shipments. Still haven't even gotten a shipping notification yet for WCKAC but I get the impression not everyone will get one. I think this "we're shipping in the order received" thing is BS tbh.
When did you place your order? In my experience Mondo does ship in the order received (and packs sequential back cover #'s) ... unlike Ronin I might add.
Jared mentioned on another forum that there were something like 200+ orders within the first few minutes of it going live, so if it was placed later on that day it was probably down the list a ways.
I don't recall the exact moment but I didn't wait long. Mostly likely within the first couple of hours since I was at work at the time. I'm not sweating it but since I haven't received the shipping email I just thought that was odd.
That must be right around the cut-off for shipping, thus far. My order was three minutes later with no shipping confirmation to date. Mondo Macabro did mention that it would take about two weeks to get all 1,000 orders shipped.
Last night I watched Who Can Kill a Child for the first time. I have seen many killer kid films, but this one really stands out for me as one of the best. I really enjoyed how nothing was over-explained as to why things are so fucked up. Instead we must deal with it like the lead characters. Wonderfully bleak ending too. There were a lot of great horror films made in the 70's and this Spanish production had some serious balls. I could do without the opening black & white documentary footage. Too gruesome to watch that segment again. Some scenes are particularly disturbing, though nothing on the level of that unnecessary introduction. Still appreciated though having this fully uncut. Great release from Mondo Macabro!

I should have Leptirica arriving from Amazon DE any day now. 'twas about $19 shipped. I'm definitely pre-ordering Blood Lust and Perversion Story tomorrow morning though! The question though, is do I just order them both together to save on shipping, or order them separately so neither holds up the shipping on the other. Mmm yeah, separate is probably less headache inducing in the long run. ...and, the pre-orders are live. Got my orders in for both separately at a stroke before 11am.
I was surprised when I read that Blood Lust was only 500. It's those exploitative covers, people can't help themselves. I was thinking 500 is too low and 1000 is perhaps a bit high. Perhaps they should have done like 750? Well, based on sales, I guess they almost certainly should have done 750. Perversion Story on the other hand... Yeah it's Fulci but it's not one of his big horror titles so it may take awhile to clear 1000. Edit: http://forum.blu-ray.com/showpost.php?p=15338261&postcount=5486
