Yeah it was only on Mondo's website, but after shipping out all the orders they listed a small handful of their remaining stock held back to cover any preorders that had issues. Now that those have sold it's out for good I imagine.

Symptoms looks good, I can't wait for the blu ray. I have Lizard in a Woman's Skin, on preorder, can't wait to get it next week from Amazon. I have the old UK DVD, which is a good release, but I am anxious to see it in HD. Mondo Macabro never disappoint. I never get their special editions because I throw away my cases and artwork, all I am interested in is the disc, which I put all my DVD and blu rays in those paper envelopes you buy at the stores. If I didn't I'd have to have my whole house filled with shelves for movies.

My brother actually gets rid of everything but the blu-ray discs too. He says he does it simply to save space but it does seem like a waste to me. I asked what he does with the dvd copies that are included and he just gives them away to friends.

I can't keep over 1,000 DVD and blu ray's with all the cases, it's just a matter of space. All I want is the disc to watch the movie and whatever content they put on the disc. I do not want to end up one of those people on TV who gets buried alive by their belongings on hoarders lol. I keep everything well organized and alphabetized. That's why I never worry if the artwork is good on blu ray or dvd packaging it's going in the trash anyhow lol.

Just keep the artwork stored flat in a box, a thousand stacked up won't take up all that much space without the cases. You're killing much of any future resale value by ditching half the product.

I got all the way out of DVD LONG ago. So my Blu Ray collection is modest. My place also has lots of built in wall book shelves. The artwork is part of the whole experience for me. Plus my collection is all alphabetized and catalogued.

My collection is also alphabetized but between the DVD's and blu-rays it takes up 3 large bookcases and they're stacked two deep. Still I couldn't imagine getting rid of the cases and artwork to save space.

I keep mine in envelopes as well, but I keep the artwork in a binder. All I throw out is the box itself. It seems such a waste to throw out the artwork. Maybe not for all movies, but for some at least.

Back on topic: watched Mondo Macabro's Lizard in a Wonan's Skin (Red Case, of course) tonight, first time in a long time. Maybe 10 years? Absolutely stunning. Forgot how well done it was. Paced so well and narratively pretty strong. The Blu is beautiful.

I placed an order as well. Never seen the film but I was planning on buying the blu-ray anyway. Getting the limited edition wasn't much more expensive.

I placed an order for those two titles as well. I think $15 is a good price for that Medousa DVD considering it's a blind buy for me.

I got Symptoms on preorder with Amazon can't wait to get it, I've never seen it, but I loved Vampyres, I have not yet gotten a Mondo Macabro movie I didn't like so I expect I will love this one as well. I don't own all the Mondo Macabro releases though, I kind of pick and choose based on descriptions, I can usually tell which ones I'll like and which to skip, and this one sounds like one I'll definitely like. I still need to get Tango of Perversion and Wife Killer, just been so many releases in the last 8 moths or so that I'm way behind on what I need to pick up.
