Agree 100%. I really love it. It's in the mold of movies we've all seen but dark, downbeat and well made. A few scenes in particular really stay with me.
Mondo Macabro just heavily teased a Countess Perverse Blu on Facebook (they posted it as a profile pic and when asked if there was an upcoming Blu posted a smile emoji). Sounds like that is coming.
It was confirmed back in December we'd be getting the BD upgrade in 2017. If you look on the previous page in this thread Zbink posted the update, which can also be found here: http://mondomacabrodvd.blogspot.ca/2016/12/big-plans-for-2017.html?zx=c3fcab9e2b2687fc. But sounds like an actual release date/release details announcement is forthcoming soon.
Same here. I've already got Blue Phantom's Distortions on vinyl, and that album gets heavy rotation from me so for those new to it it's a great/valuable addition to the set.
Man, I was thinking the DVD releases weren't all that long ago but it's been almost 5 years! I'm not one to complain about covers... But with such simpatico designs for the two movies that's the best they could do? And you should have access to the originals without text, so it'd be even easier... But I'm going to be looking at Lina Romay on the screen and not on the covers so whatever. I'm going to be snatching this up come Friday. Hopefully they'll have a few more imports in stock too!
I don't remember being a fan of Countess Perverse but that's a pretty nice looking set, hope I'm able to score one!

I ordered the Franco Countess Perverse set this morning. This should be an awesome package! Mondo Digital already has a review: http://mondo-digital.com/countessperv.html
"Thee Inquisition, Let's begin! Thee Inquisition, Look out sin!" I'm glad they're getting this out before the Shout! Factory boxset. I can't help but feel that they're going to glut the market; kinda like Franco ended up over the past couple of years. But I'll buy all 666 copies of this if I have to for Mondo Macabro to carry the day!
