More Hammer on DVD from Warner in 2004!

I think I should perhaps turn in my Hammer fan membership card. I am so embarrased! :( I stant corrected. TROG had some Hammer veterans---director Freddie Francis and writer John Gilling. What makes this equally sad is I've been thinking this was a Hammer film for decades! I think I will crawl back into my little hole now. :)

The errors in the Production Notes, which are way too numerous to list here.
Plus, what about having photos from the actual film on the back cover?
It's bad enough that they have to be in those aweful snapcases.

Cheer up, it's not as bad as Warner putting photos from the wrong film on the back cover of the DVD.

IM greatfull they put these out at all. Warner and others could just ignore us and these releases.

I'd just wish they'd get rid of those snapcases.

Excellent point! I feel better now. I do get a chuckle every time I look at my HORROR OF DRACULA DVD. That was a terrible error, but one I find amusing none the least. WE know more about their movies than they do, sad to say.

Also, get them to bring back the classic monster series as well.

Is there a site that lists all the hammer films released to date (R1 DVD)?

    32.hell is a city

The three above are the only ones I don't have. I actually ordered "Hell is a City" last night, so that will soon be off my list.

There are a few more out if you can do R2:

    Vampire Circus
    Twins of Evil
    Hands of the Ripper
(Other comedies based on British TV shows such as On the Buses.)

And in R1 there are a couple missing:

    Countess Dracula
    Vampire Lovers

Anyone want to offer an opinion on "Die Die My Darling" and "Spaceways"?

I think these can be added to the list (unless I missed them):

    38. Phantom Ship (early Hammer with Bela Lugosi)
    39. Tales of Frankenstein (contains Hammer's Frankenstein TV pilot)

Is that $66.95 price a misprint? Shit that's a damned good price on the six-pack.

I kept forgetting to get Curse, Horror and The Mummy, so this boxset is damn cool to hear about. A bit of a ways off, but oh well, I've survived this long w/o 'em I'm sure I could last a few more months.

Wow, these are like a dream come true! Whoever is responsible for these graphics should be promoted! Excellent job! The art work for all three do exactly what they should....make me want to buy them right now!

DRACULA HAS RISEN FROM THE GRAVE is more than I could have imagined for my favorite Hammer. I am thrilled!
